I'm a girl
About me: I'm from the midwest. What I like: movies of all kinds especially superhero movies, classic movies Alfred Hitchock, Orson Welles, and good dramas. I also like television and music especially blues, 80's music, oldies, disco jazz, some country, bluegrass, and other genres. I love a good sense of humor in people. Equality, tolerance and basic goodness. People with curious minds who want to learn. Don't Like: Intolerance and I don't like waiting on people.

A great actor. Denzel Washington brings character and a sense of strength to a role. He plays the good guy, the one we trust well, but he shines in the role of the villian.

A cute and charming movie. Sure it may be a girls version of Big But moviegoers will enjoy and be amused by Jennifer Garner.

A nice change for anyone wanting a break from any action movie, murder mystery, mindless comedy etc. Lost in Translation is about a man and a woman who are strangers in Japan and don't understand the language and sometimes the culture. They aren't necessarily unhappy with their lives, they are stuck and looking for meaning. They meet and strike up a wonderful friendship which is both platonic and a bit romantic without crossing the line. They are two people at a time in their lives who need each other. It is a funny, poigant and meaningful film. It is Bill Murray's best performance ever and Scarlett Johansson is magnifcent.

He'll forever be known as Victor Lazlo from Casablanca, but I liked him best as Karel Novak in Deception.

I know he was brilliant as Louis Renault in Casablanca or even as Senator Paine in Mr Smith Goes to Washington. My pick is Alexander Hollenius from Deception. Rains stars with Bette Davis and Paul Henreid and plays a music composer. Rains is wonderfully wicked and hysterical in this film.

Without a doubt Margo Channing in All About Eve but I like her best when she showed a softer, more vulnerable side such as Charlotte Vale in Now Voyager

Ice cream is my favorite dessert. Sadly my town got rid of Baskin Robbins and Swensens plus our local old time ice cream store(which was better than both of those) Baskin Robbins gave you a lot of choice and the flavors were usually good too.
