Age of Empires Civilizations

On the hit game “Age of Empires II”, (by Microsoft and Ensemble Studios) each player must choose a civilization to represent. Each one has unique attributes, buildings and technologies, as well as a unique combat unit based on its historical counterpart. Which one is your favorite? The “best” to play with? (The civs. with + signs are from AoE’s expansion pack, “The Conquerors”.)
