No. 1 Country Songs (1944-1959)

When completed this will be a series of lists of all songs which reached number one on Billboard Magazine's Hot Country Songs chart, which started in 1944 as Most Played Juke Box Folk Records. This explains some early entries from artists such as Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole. Lists for 1960-1974, 1975-1984,1985-1994 and 1995-present will eventually follow, as it started as one list, but it would just be too big. Duplicate entries may exist for songs that lost the number one spot and later regained it, I will try to eliminate these when I see them. Current Progress: Completed.
