John Ryder, psychologist, get involved with her patients private lives. He has issues with his own image. He passes confidential information among her patients. He doesn't hesitate to show off if this can help his image, the women around him and his friends. Lack of ethics . Careful!

john J. Maalouf is head of this extremely talented group of lawyers at Maalouf Ashford & Talbot. Over the past several years I've worked with John on various projects and transactions. I found him to be the ultimate lawyer and trusted professional advisor, his ability to cut through all of the road blocks and get the deals done quickly and painlessly makes him unique and sets him apart from all of the lawyers we've used over the years. I wish we had been introduced to John sooner.

We hired John J. Maalouf to represent us in a large oil transaction with China. He was great from the start, John knew how to negotiate with the Chinese and his office in Shanghai got us through the red tape quickly and efficiently. John then advised us as to a number of different issues, from structuring the deal to minimizing tax lability and even saved the deal when it looked like the other side was doing everything they could to sink it. No one could have run this deal like Maalouf Ashford, once we hired them they took care of everything and we could stop worrying. John was always available, even at 2:00am New York Time (which is 2:00pm Shanghai time) friendly and courteous.

I have been to several therapists during my lifetime and for the most part found the work to be reasonably helpful. Yet working with my current therapist, Howard Rossen LCSW has been the most instructive experience to date. He is compassionate and supportive while at the same time offering insights to the cause of my behaviors and actions. He has helped me to look deeper into my very being and hasn't been afraid to say some difficult things that I had been resistant to hearing during these past years.

He also has a nice office space near Central Park and creates a very warm and inviting atmosphere in which we can really do meaningful and productive work. I truly look forward to our weekly sessions which i find to be the most meaningful hour of my week.

First of all, I hate going to doctors, but after 3 weeks of a persistent sore throat I finally broke down and saw someone. I was a little skeptical of a Nurse Practitioner at first but my wife convinced me it would be a good idea. All I can say is that Ray is great. I filled out all the information on a secure site. He came to my office in downtown Manhattan. Everything was very professional, and discrete. He was much more attentive than any doctor I had ever seen. He even performed a physical on me since I was already paying for a visit. He drew blood and did a throat culture. Very convenient. Bottom line: if you are a busy professional and want a very convenient and competent professional to give you sound medical care, Metro Medical Direct is well worth it. The one down side is he does not take any insurance but I was able to use my FSA, and I did get an appointment the next day.

Went for brunch at Samalitas on the Upper East Side and was really looking forward to it, as I had been there awhile back when it had first opened and had a great experience. So I knew it would be great- or so I thought. We got there and sat at a table right next to the side walk, there were 2 musicians playing and the weather was great. Very nice ambiance! We ordered and I chose the Beverly Hills Salad. It had avocado, greens, beets, cheese and turkey with other healthy yummy ingredients. My date got the steak and eggs and was excited b/c it was so well priced. I ordered a tea and it came in a small tea cup with no refills. They used to give you a small tea pot that poured at least 2 1/2 cups of tea. If you're a tea drinker like me, you know that one small cup is not enough! The food took forever to come and the server was nowhere to be found. When the food came I was SO shocked and disappointed. All the ingredients listed were in the salad, but it was processed, cubed turkey and looked gross! And totally killed the idea of having fresh, healthy and tasty salad- California style it was not. The steak and eggs were disappointing as well- although it tasted good the portion was ridiculously small! The steak was so small, like the size of small, skinny candy bar. And the eggs were over easy and basically just the yolks! The waiter did not check on us once and we had to look for him several times and signal for him to finally come over and give the check. Although he was very friendly, it was annoying that he wasn't more attentive. It was really disappointing, especially b/c i had been there a year or two earlier and their portions were much bigger and the server was pleasant and attentive.
