I'm biased as a member but I'm a big fan of this place. From the outside it doesn't look like a gym but more like a SF Victorian, and as such it's got some character and stands out from a typical gym. It used to be a men's club and a number of years ago the new owner converted it. There are over 450 members but there's almost never a crowd - particularly in the weight room. I can go there at 6am or 6pm and it's me and one or two other people. The cardio room is mostly full all the time although I can always get a machine. The front desk staff and trainers are very cool people. The locker rooms are small but nice, and there's a sauna and steam room. Anyway I like it so much I come here twice a day.
