Okay, we did not read all of the bad reviews before we decided to have this place look at our refridgerator, otherwise we would have thought twice before becoming involved with them back in June 2010. Yet, our first encounters with Scott (the owner) went very well. We believe he definitely diagnosed the problem correctly. We had a broken unit located within our counter-depth refridgerator which leaked freon. Because counter-depth refidgerators are SO EXPENSIVE to replace, we agreed instead to have Scott order and install the defective part, which he said should be in around August 2010. August comes and they tell us the part is back-ordered until October. October comes and there is no news, so we call them with our inquiries. A woman agrees to check into things and call us back. No calls back, after 3 more calls are made by US to them, to check in on the status of the part! Finally in December, we call once more and spoke with Nikki, the manager, who was EXTREMELY RUDE and very unsympathetic to our plight. I asked her at first if I could speak directly to Scott? She said he was not in, so I asked when she would expect him back? She sarcastically replied, "Three months." "Three months?!" I replied. Nikki then proceeded to tell me Scott does not reside in Iowa during the winter and he would not be back until the spring. Fine, so I immediately inquire (with Nikki) about the status of our part and relay my frustrations concerning the lack of information/ calls we have been receiving from her company. Nikki responds by saying she has never heard of us and says, "If we have not called you back, then I guess the part is not in yet!" She also claims she has no knowledge of our situation and make no apologies about it. She does promise to call us back after she is FORCED to spend a half hour on the phone with Jenn-aire. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE is all I can say about Nikki! Although she did call us back 45 minutes later to tell us the part should be in in Jan. 2011, she said there is no gaurantee they will receive it. What? Nikki appears to be a very poor manager, who definitely needs to take some classes in customer service ettiquette! We are now going to see if we can order the part ourselves on line. After dealing with Nikki, I would not recommend this company to anyone!
