This guy is terrible. I would never rent from him EVER again. There is not an honest word out of his mouth. I pay my rent, and I live in his crappy slumlord places. But, I cannot wait to get out of his deathtrap lease and try to find a decent place to rent.

a really fun, cool, funky place to stay right in the middle of the French Quarter. really awesome location, gorgeous courtyard filled with unique fountains, artwork, plants and other stuff (check out the peewee herman bike) The apts themselves are rather smallish, but have great balconies which are just incredible to sit out on (as long as it isnt pouring down rain), the building is kept very clean, great managers, cool residents & guests. overall a truly unique experience, much different that the typical apartment complex or hotel (but if thats what you are used to, you probably won't like this)

First to validate my credibility: My husband and I were great tenants who never once paid our rent late. Despite that, when things did not work at the house they never seemed to get fixed. We lived with black mold in our bathroom because there wasn't a vent and the window was sealed shut. It took them 6 months to come fix it. We also had to live with a hole in the floor about 2 feet wide cause by a robbery for about 3 weeks. If I owned a property I would not choose them to take care of it.

Expensive. Damaged major appliancesand furnishings. Management will not honor insurance. I have more than 25 documented phone calls that management has not returned. This company is trouble !!!

The movers broke all of the buttons off my washer and dryer and hid it from me. They ripped my leather sofa in my presence. Multiple damages occurred to walls, the railings were torn off the stairs and multiple furnature items were broken/damaged. They used my dolly and tools and did not return them. Over the last 11 months after many phone calls and certified letters they have not paid the mere 10% claim of a 4 grand move.

There's a reason their BBB review is an F. Watch for them to try to add a "fuel surcharge" of some arbitrary percent to your invoice for local moves. And miscalculate the hours. The driver Billy, the disabled one, specializes in this. Then you can call and talk to Brian. He'll promise to call you back. Send you an empty envelop. Have his dispatchers say he's not in. Basically as big a slime ball as you will find in life. As a plus, I guess they did show up. Though we had to find them at a bar (Iggy's). But then again, they did break a table. And then Billy, as far as I could make out his inability to speak, tried to say there was an exemption for damage in the contract! Wow. Again, just see the BBB.

This move was my January nightmare! I had a small house. The guys took all day to move me. 8 HOURS! They tore up my nice furniture and even the dishes in my boxes got broken. I can't get any resolve when I call them. I doubt they even have any insurance. They took advantage of me, don't let this happen to you. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM MR MOVE AS YOU CAN!

rented a house from maurice guillot property management nov 2009. on 12/15/09 i received a letter taped to my front door telling me to vacate the property by 12/31/09. this gave me 2 weeks to located and secure another rental place during holiday time. i had all my belongings removed and turned the keys in as asked in the letter. he is now saying i am responsible for the rent of the house until it is rented again. i am a single mother with no child support of 3 kids and work full time. i did not know that the letter was not a official eviction filed with the courthouse. during the last weeks my 6 yr old son was sick and threw up medicine and stained the carpet. maurice guillot called me and was very hostil and threating to me regarding the condition of the carpet. i explained that i had full intention to clean the carpet but he ask that i be out by 12/31/09. he offered to keep the back door open until monday 1/4/10 so that i could go in and get the carpet cleaned. on 1/3/10 i rented a carpet cleaning machine and returned to the property and the door was locked. when i called he said that i threated to file a suit and that it would be taken up in court. he is making claims of damage to the property that was not true. his buiness ethics are questionable. he tossed a single mother and her 3 kids on the street during christmas with a 2 week notice. he is was also making false claims regarding events that happened at the property.
