Went to eat here last night for the first time. I'd read some not-so-good reviews about the place, but was meeting friends so was hoping for the best. The drink menu was VERY limited (fruity rum drinks) and the only Thai beer offered on the menu was "no longer available". I got the flaming Thai Stinker...pineapple juice and (probably) rum in a gigantic bowl with two straws. Not worth $6.95. My noodle dish consisted of a large pile of mushy noodles, mushy slices of carrot, mushy pieces of a tasteless green vegetable, and white meat chicken smothered in melted peanut butter. If you wanted ANY heat or flavor other than peanut butter, a chili sauce condiment was provided. If you want to try Thai food, do not eat here. Though I haven't been there in a few years, I highly recommend The King and I on S. Grand. If you like the food here, you don't know what Thai food is.

Excellent food, portions are plentiful, quality of food is the best in town. Moderate price and excellent service. Highly suggest for all Chinese cuisines.

I love Sesame. The food is always great tasting, hot, and the portions are gigantic. You can't beat their lunch specials. For right around $5.00 you get a main dish, fried rice, and a crab rangoon. This is no scaled down portion of a "dinner" dish though, it's still a full sized portion. I always have leftovers. Their sesame chicken is the best thing on the menu. You get all white meat chicken and their sauce is incredible. It's not the normal brown sauce that you get from every other Chinese place I've ever been to, it's a clear sauce that tastes great. I recommend it to anyone. You'll pay the same amount for dinner here as you will anywhere else so the prices are competitive. If you've never been and are looking for some great food, I highly suggest the drive to Sesame.

We ate here the night before Valentine's Day. While the steaks were delicious, the salad mix was obviously from a bag. What really floored us was when we were charged $4 for a 6 ounce Sprite and $4 for a refill. When we brought it up to the waitress, she said that's what the prices were that night and sodas are usually $2.50. We spoke with the rather unapologetic and rude manager who blatantly lied and said sodas were $4 every day and said the reason was because it was a "white tablecloth" restaurant. I've eaten in countless "white tablecloth" restaurants and have never been gouged that bad for a soda. The whole experience turned me off and the next time we want a "white tablecloth" experience, we'll take our money elsewhere.

Pho Grand used to be the best vietnamese in town, but their service is rude and their menu is lacking the flavor that Vietnamese cuisine is ...
