SERVICE IS VERY BAD. WHEN YOU CALL IN A ORDER AND THEY TELL 20 MIN AND YOU LEAVE YOUR HOUSE 35 MINUTES LATER GET THERE YOUR ORDER NOT READY. OK I CAN UNDERSTAND WAITING 5 MINUTES MORE BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. AFTER WAITING ANOTHER 35 MINUTES MY ORDER WAS READY. THE KICKER TO THIS I HAD VERY SIMPLE ORDER BASKET OF FRIES AND 7 PIECE WINGS. LADY AT FRONT COUNTER JUST HAS NO PEOPLE SKILLS JUST AWFULL SERVICE. ASKED WHY IT WAS SUCH A LONG WAIT FOR A CALLED IN ORDER LADY ACT LIKE SHE DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT OR JUST DID NOT GIVE A DAM. I FELL THAT THE OWNER REALY NEED TO SEE WHATS GOING ON WITH HIS BUSINESS. EVERYONE SAY FOOD IS GOOD BUT AFTER SERVICE LIKE THAT IT CAN BE THE BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD AND I WOULD NOT GO BACK. TO ANYONE READING THIS TRULY HOPE YOU HAVE A BETTER EXPERINCE.

I would rate this location as having/rendering the worse service that i've ever experienced at any Crumpys that i've ever been a guest of. On 01/28/2011 I visited this location at approx 11:15pm. The cashier was unprofessional, to say the least, to be begin with. I started to place the order, my husband's first, requesting a 7pc whole wing combo. The cashier asked what kind of drink and I turned to him to ask and he said "coke". She in turn stated that "tea, punch, and lemon aide" comes with a combo". He said lemon aide so i requested that for him. I also asked him what flavor wings and he requested "suicide". The first thing out of the cashier mouth was, "no refunds on the suicide that is the hottest" I said "he's not asking for a refund, he's ordering what he wants". She went on to mouth off using provoking selection of words. I went ahead and placed my order. We were ticket #89 and waited for about 15min. before we were called to receive it. By this time it's about 11:30pm. When I stepped up at the request of my number being called I asked for ketchup and she told me that it was in the bag. I thanked her, she thanked me and we left with our order. Now before I go on let me incorporate this bit of info.. I live in the Hacks Cross area. I have had a taste for Crumpys all week and said that I would not let this week end pass without getting some. Before the Mendenhall location closed, that is where we always got our Crumpys from and never had a minute of problem. I have placed some very large orders with Crumpys because of hosting large in home functions as well as ordering wings for several birthday parties that i've had. We initially had driven to the Park Ave location, but wasn't to pleased with atmosphere/environment. We decided to come on to the Millbranch location. So now you know I am a good distance from home. I was very hungry and it was late. My husband initially said let's get Mr. P's, which is less than 5min. away from home, I said no. He also suggested Express and I also turned them down as well. Now you understand I truly had my taste buds set on Crumpys. Anyhow, we are now on our way home, but decides to pull over on the Exxon lot and eat so that our food is not cold because we drive all the way home. The first thing I notice is that I don't have a roll, but my husband does. I started lifting wings, fries, wax paper, etc. to check for roll and i'm also searching for my ranch dressing. I don't have either. I know my husband never eats his dressing so I ask him to give me his, but he says he doesn't have any either. He started lifting wings, but doesn't see it. I ask him to go back to Crumpys so that I can get the dressing and my roll and keep in mind it's past 11:30pm now and I have hungry. He stops looking for his dressing and we drive back to Crumpys. I could see the cashier looking at me when I was approaching the door. I step up to the counter and tell her that we didn't receive our dressing and I didn't get my roll. She started to tell me that these items were included and I kept shaking my head for "no" and verbally stated it again. She went to the back and out comes the, cook, I guess. He immediately starts to tell me that these items were included and besides being in total shock and at a lost for words for what I was experiencing, I can't describe what was going through my mind. I finally stated that I did not get these items and I would not be comming back for ranch dressin and a roll if I had gotten them. He asked me to step to the side and it took him at least 2-3 min. before he come back with the items. In a mild mannered tone of voice I explained to him that I didn't have time for that. As a customer if I say that I didn't receive something, I didn't. For anyone reading this, it was too late to be flip floping back and forth over ranch dressing and a darn roll. I was hungry and was a good distance from home. I don't know where the went to school or if they are educated for that matter, but their dumbfound actions were ridiculous. I paid approx. $19 for something that I wanted so bad, but truly didn't emjoy. By the way, I heard the cashier make a comment about something that she'd done to the suicide wings that my husband ordered. I specifically heard her say, "I made sure the suicide was hot they gonna tear his ass up". She mentioned something about her adding pepper. You could see where black pepper had been poured on those wings as if someone had ill intentions. I am a self employed woman and I never know whose home I will end up in so I want to and always try and treat humans with respect and be professional when rendering my professional services. These people I encountered tonight extends a bad name for our black owned/operated businesses. I just absolutely love patronizing anybodys business that treats me with respect and no indifference in any way/shape. However, it is always my absolute pleasure when the business is bo/o and the service is exceptional. I am not finished with these associates of Crumpys because i'm sure the owner won't tolerate such deliberate rudeness. These are the type of associates that will close a business down. The economy is not particularly stable at the current and we all should show some humility in being blessed to have some things that some people don't have during these trying times. I don't ever plan to patronize Crumpys again.

I have spent overr $5,000 sponsoring lunches for physicians in the past five years. Time after time I have been asked by the office staff to bring Showboat BBQ to the office. The sauce is awesome, the chopped pork has plenty of bark which is very tasty, the beans and slaw are awesome and you always get a lot of food with your order. Memphis has great BBQ resaurants and for most part they are all good but Porter Moss and his Showboat Restaurant are the best.
I wish I could talk him into coming to Florida and opening a place like the one he has on Hickory Hill Road? I can't wait to get back to Memphis for a visit just to stop by and have a large sandwatch platter with a diet coke! :-) Porter, you are the best! Sam George

This is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at. I ordered the Beef and Broccoli and I can't begin to describe the horrible taste. This place and the people who run it need to be ran out of Memphis! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

The only place in Memphis that has discovered what eating is really about - no fancy-shmancy words or bizarre concoctions to justify prices. The taste is superb, the menu is manageably sized and changes seasonally. They grow a lot of their vegetables in a garden behind the restaurant and most of their purchases are from local vendors. Pricing is on par with Houston's but the portions are disappointingly smaller (albeit healthier, I know, but when an entrée is pushing $30 I'd like to have a little left over). Service staff has been sweet, courteous and prompt, though occasionally a little uninformed. I've recommended this place to all of my friends, but if you'd like a buzz while you're waiting on the main course, be sure to order wine and not cocktails: my vodka soda seemed to be absent of vodka.
