Really trendy, and ridiculously expensive. My friend got some sort of beef dish with 12 slices. $180. I had a few $30 tapas-sized plates of ahi tuna and yellowtail. Everything tasted great but for a relatively small amount of food and a car payment to pay for the meal, it really should.

I just have to write about my wonderful experience I received from this florist. I have been sending flowers from many cities abroad and have never experienced such a wonderful dealings than with Rainforest. Their flowers are absolutely out of this world and the service as grand as any five star hotel.
I have used other Honolulu florists before and received my usual thanks. But on this occasion, I needed to really impress a client who was getting married there and two luxury hotels recommended Rainforest highly.
The arrangement was beautiful, an arrangement made up of exotic Hawaiian flowers and leaves which I have never seen before. My client also wrote and sent me photos of the flowers with big execs all standing near by getting their photos snapped. I was very impressed with their service and they promptly emailed my receipt, sent me a confirmation of time and image of what was sent. You can imagine I didn't lose any seep knowing that it was done, and I knew what was sent. I can't tell you what a GOD-send this place is. I have ordered flowers elsewhere and worried for days before seeing my charge card being charged and finding out that my flowers were sent but after receiving a thank you note from the recipient. The folks at Rainforest cut through all the worries and uncertainties by confirming my order was sent and I even got to see what I paid for. When was the last time you blindly ordered stuff and knew what you got after doing so?
I bet your answer is never. Give these folks a try, buying overseas can sometimes make you worry.
I will definitely order again when the opportunity arises. The flowers were very grand!

I recently got married in the islands and was just thrilled with Rainforest's ability to make my day extra special. The attention to detail that went into my wedding was well thought out and executed by the Rainforest staff.
My first initiation to doing a wedding in Hawaii came as an eye opener for me. I initially emailed five top floral designers to provide me with a quote for my big day. I only received one email response back and that came from Rainforest. I did receive an automatic message from two other florists but never got a follow up when they would be able to help me.
My wedding day was going to be on the October 10 week end and I have heard that so many weddings were scheduled for that day. We just got our information about our trip and appointments late in the game. We were about a month away and I knew it was a last minute effort to get something so I planned on getting what ever I could. I just wanted to get married in Hawaii and make it as memorable as possible. Michael M. at Rainforest was very helpful and while I imagined to pay a high price due to this being a last minute effort I was ready to do so. The quote for my first choice wedding didn't seem that bad. I had originally budgeted $500 for my flowers and was quoted just slightly higher than $600. But since he was the only florist that had wrote me back, I accepted it without haste. On the day of my wedding, I was amazed how carefully packaged and wrapped to insure that everything was perfect. Leis were wrapped in tea leaves and were so attractive the mother's didn't want to open them. My lei was wrapped in a special colored tea leaf with fancy ribbon and an orchid tied into it.
My bouquet was the best I could have ever imagined it to be. I originally wanted all orchids in bright colors. I was surprised that the bouquet had over a hundred orchids in it in so many colored forms and shapes that I didn't realize there were so many types. It was beautifully wrapped in fancy ribbon and composed with exotic foliages and just wowing everyone who saw it. Another bride of another wedding complimented on my bouquet saying that a bouquet like the one I had must have cost about $500! I blushed and smiled to tell her that my whole wedding cost just slightly over $600, which included a groom's fancy full mylie lei, 2 mother's fancy orchid leis, 2 father's masculine leis, a flower girl halo, a Matron of Honor's bouquet and a small centerpiece for our dinner afterwards. Every piece was composed of orchids which were my favorite that I just had to write this review.
I must say that I have compared pricing with other bride's wedding flowers and I actually had the best value. I imagine prices are much higher in Hawaii even for flowers. We did spend a lot getting there and having such a grand wedding in Hawaii. My dream since I was little. The only difference is that I originally imagined doing it in a hula skirt.

Flava? Just cause you have a couple racks of out of style clothing that you won't even sell to anyone? Whatever... Da Wig Shop sucks, don't go there. Bad service, rude people, long wait, weird location.

Most popular florist in town. Floral designer, Michael Miyashiro is the best in town! Most popular florist. Very creative and knowledgeable in his field of work. Visit hia website "rainforisthawaii" for samples of his arrangements, wedding and prom bouquets. Fabulous work. Have gotten so much complimentary and appreciative thank yous from people who have received his arrangements. All of the people to whom I have sent arrangements have been so impressed they all are now his customers too. The store has moved from Ward Warehouse to Kilohana Square in Kapahulu.

I have used another florist for the past five years and while the recipient liked her flowers, I didn't believe anyone else could make a difference. A friend had referred me to Rainforest several times and I didn't really paid much attention until a co-worker said she had just had flowers from Rainforest sent to her and how it really lifted her spirits like no other flower arrangement could. So I tried them. What I was surprised was their effort and professional mannerism in taking my order. The order taker was concise and I knew what I would be getting and what surprised me was their effort in sending me a photo of the arrangement so I could see what she was getting. Most florists use a standard purchased image that wasn't even made at the store. The flower image I received was the actual image (confirmed from a happy recipient and sent photos herself to me) of the arrangement. So this made me post this comment for this wonderful florist. Another nice thing I liked about this store is that the price you re quoted is the exact charge that was shown on my credit card statement. No hidden fees and charges. I used to send $75 arrangements and having shown $98.88 on my statements by other florists just didn't sit well with me. Rainforest quoted me $85 and that was what I paid for. Now that alone is worth going there for! to them

Outstanding job for a flower shop. It's hard to imagine that such a wonderful store exists in this square. You would never know that such a grand store exists by looking at what's in the square. But after walking in to the store and seeing all the flowers, and the names on arrangements leaving the store, you already know that this is the place! What beauty and scents fill the air and the eyes bedazzled with color and beauty.
This has to be the best flower shop I have even been to, and I have been to flower shops in Japan, Europe, and across the States. No other has had the selection and freshness as this store. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly making me feel more like a friend than a customer.
This store was like a cross between a friendly mom and pops kind of store and a hip upbeat place with young and older people working together. Kind of like how Apple has older and younger staff working together making the day go by smoothly.
Try this place if you're ever in this area. Just a few blocks from the freeway and a block up from Leonard's Bakery.
I believe they're open Mondays through Saturdays and is there early for those early shoppers.
