I'm rating the name of this Church:

Shakespeare's Juliet asked, "What's In A Name" to justify falling in love with Romeo who had a name indicating he was from a lower class of people. With all due respect to the famed writings of Shakespeare there's plenty in a name when a church has a name with Tithing in it.

In my view, there might as well be a church named, The Saturday Sabbath Baptist Church, The Eight Day Old Male Circumcision Baptist Church, The No Women Wearing Men's Clothes (pants) Deut 22:5 Baptist Church, The Men Must NOT Shave Off the Sides of Their Hair Baptist Church Leviticus 19:27, or better yet, The Rest On The First Day of the Pass-Over Baptist Church Lev.23:7-8.

Does the fact that in Matthew 23:23 and Luke 11:42 Jesus called Tithing the least important Old Covenant law to Jews who were still bound by the tithe law before dying Jesus died on the cross and his saying "It is Finished" (Paid in Full) to fulfill the law escape them?

I'm not against tithing, unless it is forced as a law that is binding for Christians. Christians are under a New Covenant. I'm led to give by what is right as I decide in my own heart as instructed in 2nd Corinthians 9:7. It could be less than ten percent, could be more because I've read my New Testament and understand my New Covenant rights. I admit I'm a far from perfect believer in Jesus. I'm undergoing lots of construction but I do know I've come this far by his grace through faith. It took me a minute but I'm free in Christ and plan to stay that way as instructed in Galatians 5:1-4

I'm no longer under Old Covenant laws that the New Testament said Jesus nailed to the cross. My ideal life would be to live by my New Covenant grace through faith in Jesus and the guidance of God's Spirit instead of Old Covenant laws given to a different group of people (Jews) under a different covenant. Col.2:14, Galatians 3:13, Romans 8:3, Galatians 3:13

I've got to give this church credit for the Tithe Promo right off the bat. At least you may have more than a hint of what is expected going in.

They get an extra star for upfront disclosure. The brochure also says they have a drive-thru communion window.

Small church with a great bunch of people. It reminds me of a small country church I use to attend with my great-grandmother. Very nice members. It is the small church I always drive by on the way to work. It has clever sayings every week on each side of the sign so you can have a chuckle both going to work and coming home from work. Use to say I would stop there some day and finally did. It was well worth the trip. Very down home, friendly feeling. I would recommend it.

This was a very lively church. I brought my two kids (age 11 and 17) and even they said they liked it. There were some different things I am not accustomed to seeing in church, there were a lot of women and young people who spoke pretty well about the Lord and other christian things. The sermon sort of took a knock at christian-religion in general, but not in a bad way, more in a helpful way. I'd never heard that from a preacher before, but I been burned in church, so this was a relief to hear someone address the problems. Music was loud, but the kids liked it. Lots of old folks, young folks, different cultures. I sat by an african american family in traditional garb, it was pretty fantastic.

I visited World Revival Church in Kansas City a few weeks ago because I had heard about the "Revival." I'm a pretty big skeptic, and I like to check these things out. But I was pleasantly surprised by how un-evangelical it was! It was wonderful to be greeted by so many people who were real, and genuinely interested in making me a friend, and not just a new member! There was no "one man show" of healing or crazy kooks coming up to "give me a word". The music was lively! Like a concert, and the whole place got into it. There were testimonies, and a young blond girl sang who was very cutting edge and so out there! Normally, I do not like that sort of thing, but in the midst of all the shouting and loud singing there was the reverence and mystery that I feel should be in church. The sermon was very long, but I enjoyed the topics. The minister was very genuine and actually pretty funny, his wife came up with him for awhile, and she is just so energetic. It was great to see so many young people, old people, children, college kids, teens all there and enjoying it. I will probably come back to visit!
