Do net buy - I am having leaks in all windows. Had 6 visits to my house and no resolution yet. Why is it so difficult to build a good window. Keep on going, spent $5,000 dollars and they a not good. Soon they will come patch them and they will be band-aid windows

Very Professional Company
This company came to me as a referral. I called them to schedule and found that the woman that answered the phone was very knowledgable about the company and services they offer. The gentleman that came out Jeff, is a Board Certified Entomologist, and is very helpful and thourough with everthing that was done at my home. I have never experienced such wonderful service from a company. They arrived at my home on schedule and took the time to make me happy. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Top Notch Company.

The online special that was offered was 2 rooms and a hallway for approximately $69.95. The carpet cleaner was an hour late and when I told him what needed to be done with the additional chemicals and bleaches the total went to $160.00. In my opinion it was a scam. What a great deal I got....not!

Moores had come out to repair my heater in December. This summer I turned on my A/C and it blew hot air. Called a different company and they said that Moores had wired my system so the A/C wasnt able to be turned on from my thermostat. Called Moores and gave them the opportunity to come out first to and if this was true to fix it and everything would be ok. Told me that they could get to me in a little over a week and I would have to pay for service call and any repairs. Wow, you would think that a company would want to know if this is really going on with their service team. I cant wait that long, its 90 degress and its already been 3 days. Called another service company. They worked me in within the next day. There are way to many service companies in KC to deal with a company like Moores.

Had a new Air conditioner/ Heat Pump unit put in 1 year ago, had to call company (4 services calls in total a year) out when we needed to switch to heat because the heat pump would not work, heat pump never functioned correctly, now when trying to switch over to the air conditioner thermostat indicated air condition on and the furnace comes on. Called company and spoke with Randy Moore, the owner, and he said we would have to pay a service call of $79 for the first 15 minutes of their time and any additional charges for them to come and see if it was their techs wiring mistake. Also we have wires on the outside unit not properly installed and exposed to the elements and connected wires in our basement that do not have wire nuts on them. Company is refusing to stand behind their work said they would not send a tech out at all after I called him out on all of his technicians mistakes and he hung up on me. Very unprofessional!

  I've never had the kind of in-home service that would inspire me to take the time to go online and write a review (good or bad) — until now. 
  Since my dishwasher is still under warranty, the manufacturer gave me a choice of three local shops to call for repair. I did my due Google-ence and quickly found that two of the three were less than popular with my fellow Kansas Citians. The third, Dye's Appliance, had only a small online presence but it was positive and, equally important, had been in business for 50 years (which I thought might explain the lack of online information...A company with a well-established local reputation — and perhaps an older customer base — might be slower to build an internet following.) 
  Needless to say, I couldn't have been more pleased with the whole process. Brett, easy-going and helpful, offered me an appointment for the next day, with a window of an hour. Blake, who owns the business along with his grandfather who started the company, and brother of Brett, arrived toward the end of the hour and quickly diagnosed the problem. Who would've thought that a little mix-up like dish soap and dish-WASHER detergent could flood a kitchen floor and basement? (Note to self: review dishwasher procedures with 11 year old ASAP!) Once realizing the error, Blake was gracious and kind and tried not to make me feel any more foolish than the obvious by sharing his memory of when he made the same mistake (of course, he was only nine...but the sentiments were welcome). He took the time to clear out the bubbles, clean the trap, and unassemble/reassemble everything to verify there were no other problems. He also explained everything as he did it; either why he was doing it or showed me how to do it myself. 
  There's no question that this family business will now be OUR family's first call when any appliances need some TLC. I don't doubt that, with excellent service like this, it won't take long for Dye's Appliance to develop the same high-quality reputation they've had locally for decades and to stake their claim on the net.
