I've used Yellow Cab of Pittsburgh at least a dozen times to get to the airport and back and similar trips. It's easy to order a cab, they always show up reliably, you can pay by credit card, they give receipts, and basically do everything I expect from a professional taxi service. During the middle of the night they once showed up within 30 minutes, which is pretty good for PIttsburgh. Not immediate no, but in the US you only get immediate cabs in New York and Boston as far as I've experienced. I'm surprised at how unhappy other reviewers are with Yellow Cab - I have had different experiences.

By Alan Carter the Staff reporter from Germany 12/18/09 I am a reporter and was covering G-20 meeting during September 24-25, 2009. It was hard to get a room at a reasonable price. Avalon Motel was my savoir. Its daily rates were under $45.00 including taxes, while Hilton Pittsburgh wanted $287.00 plus taxes. Avalon Motel rooms were clean and staff very helpful. The Bus 16A was right in front of the Motel to take me to downtown Pittsburgh. I have travelled for G-20 meeting coverage to about 9 countries, I found this Motel extremely reasonable, comfortable and Economical. McDonald and Wendy's resturants were next door. I recommend this Motel and whenever I am in USA and visiting Pittsburgh, my home will be this Motel

Exceptional Limousine again came through for me and my buddies for my best friend's wedding in August 2009. I previously used Exceptional Limousine for his bachelor party (check out the prior review) and upon learning that the guys needed transportation to the church, I contacted Paul over at Exceptional Limousines to see what he could do for me. He quoted me a terrific rate, made sure the limo was where we needed it to be (and there early), and a bunch of big dudes and 1 small girl (7 in total) fit comfortably in his limo. Again exceptional services for a reasonable price, and the next time I need a limo in Pittsburgh I'll look to Exceptional Limousine first!

Folinos used to be a nice place to eat at until it merged with toms diner, now its just ridicilous! If a woman is at the bar, she has to walk thru folinos and into where the employees are to go to the restroom. Service is horrible and the food is not even average. Everything about this establishment is bad all around.

My bag did not make it on my Delta flight last night. My bag was to be placed on the first morning delivery. It is 3:30 pm and I stillhave not recieved my luggage. I'm more disapointed with Delta for doing business with a company with no integrity.
