I recently had a back injury (pinched sciatic nerve). Looked at my insurance and found Dr Wright. I was very pleased and surprised at the service I have received since my treatment began. They are very professional, knowledgeable and patient friendly. I received great treatment and had the option of manual adjustment or with a pro adjuster. I chose manual but having the option of being adjusted by a machine was great. Needless to say, Dr Wright and staff, got me ready and able to run my half marathon in approx 3 weeks. I was relieved and happy that I was pain free in the amount of time they had. I would recommend Sports and Family Chiropractic to anyone who is in pain and I look forward to continue treatments with Dr. Wright. :-)

Dr Wright and his staff have been great. Under there care I have accomplished my weight loss goals. My allergies have gone away. Also I can play hard and they fix my sports injuries and get me right back out there. Thank you guys.

I had crossed paths with Chiropractic about 20 years ago because of very mild symptoms of hip discomfort. I must say, being younger and “invincible”, I thought it was really unnecessary to even try Chiropractic, however, after hearing an ad on the radio, I decided to experience the “cure all” claims. As I expected, and in retrospect, he was way off in his analysis of the problem and, of course, the treatment. Needless to say, I did not return after several sessions and became convinced that Chiropractic was not for me. Then….. ….over the course of a bit less than a year (two years ago), I began experiencing increasing hip pain. It slowly became more difficult to sit, stand or walk for any length of time. It became very painful to accomplish simple things like walking thru a mall or even around the neighborhood. The pain centered in the right hip and down the leg. Sitting for a while was the only practical relief until that became a liability also. My Family Doctor sent me for an MRI. The results depicted a slowly degenerating disk condition in the lower spine in the L5 area that was compressing the nerve bundle down the right hip and leg. His recommendations were consistent with AMA guidelines, over-the-counter “pain pills”, then prescription meds or finally surgery. At one time, I was a believer of prescription meds until it became evident thru my own experience, word of mouth, general reading/learning. I began leaning more toward prevention thru awareness of the condition (whatever it was) and a tendency toward holistic methods, i.e.: let the body tend toward healing itself when given the right foods, supplements and the desire to follow a better/healthier life style thru reading/learning about what works. Sometimes that’s really not enough, especially once an existing condition becomes intolerable. I was lucky enough to hear about Sports and Family Chiropractic through my wife who had already been using Dr. Wright’s service. She had attended one of his presentations at her work place and had received multiple positive comments “word-of-mouth” about him. His analysis of my X-Rays and suggested response to the condition sounded more than correct to me. I have been continuing to use his service for about 8 months now (Electric Stimulus, Roller Traction Table, Massage and Pro-Adjuster). The relief I experienced was noticeable within the first month and gradually improved. I can now walk and sit as before my condition revealed itself, in my case, even Chiropractic is not a “cure”, but it is head and shoulders above surgery. It pays to find the right Doctor of Chiropractic and Dr. Wright is at the top of my Chiropractic services list. His support team is knowledgeable, customer/patient oriented and Professional. What more to ask for?

I have not had any problems The best doctor and staff I have been to. They submitted my insurance claims. I received a refund for the deposit I paid 1 day after they received payment from my insurance company. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I previously worked for a doctor and it seems quite clear that the complaint is coming from a patient who does not want to pay their bill.
Dr. Blum and his ofice staff are extremly nice, helpful and honest.

I'm really quite astonished by the past two ratings. I have been with Dr. Sun for as long as I've lived in Southern California and he has made every dentist visit fun, relaxed, and incredibly personalized. His staff is caring and attentive and the minute I get past the waiting room, I always feel like I'm the only one in the office (despite the fact that the Arcadia location is CONSTANTLY packed with other customers).

Dr. Sun and Dr. Yang recently renovated their Arcadia location (they also have a location in San Marino) which is now double the size and one of the prettiest doctor's offices I've been to. It's a very clean and serene environment - the decor is soothing, a lovely characteristic particularly because Dr. Sun specializes in oral surgeries, like implants, a procedure that can be a bit overwhelming for many.

I've gotten several procedures done with Dr. Sun, from regular cleanings to laser whitenings, as well as Invisalign and wisdom teeth surgery. I love love love getting laser whitenings there. The 45 minute - 1 hour process is a bit draining, but Dr. Sun makes me feel as comfortable as possible - providing a remote for the TV, a bell to ring for any help when needed, and check ups every 10 minutes.

Just to illustrate an experience with Dr. Sun, I will write about my wisdom teeth surgery. I went in to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out, completely terrified at first. I was a bit paranoid so I came prepared - brought an iPod to play music for distraction, knowing the drill would be quite loud. Although I had horror stories from friends, I didn't feel a thing! My mouth was completely numb and whenever I felt even the slightest pinch or sting, I would gesture to Dr. Sun, and he would instantly stop to ask if I needed to be numbed further. There were two other assistants in the room with Dr. Sun, and Dr. Yang even came in occasionally to check up and make sure the surgery was going OK. I came out with a prescription for vicodin but literally only needed to take a dose after the surgery and another two days later. I felt absolutely no pain the entire time I was healing and Dr. Sun had already prepped me on how to handle the healing process. All in all, the surgery went perfectly and I had absolutely no complications.

I really can't understand why anyone would have a bad experience with Dr. Sun and his staff. He has always provided me with the best service. The only thing I can think to complain of is the slight wait you must endure before seeing the doctor. As I mentioned before, his office is always packed with customers and sometimes it takes a while to get past the waiting room. However, this merely illustrates how popular both Dr. Sun and Dr. Yang are with the community. [I even heard someone in the waiting room say they flew back from New York City after having moved there from Arcadia to come back to see Dr. Sun!!]

He's extremely well known within Arcadia, Pasadena, San Marino, Rosemead, Orange County, etc. and I've recommended all my friends to his office, all of whom have no complaints and have been going to see him for the past 3-5 years.

I would recommend him to anyone, please please PLEASE don't be discouraged by the past two comments. I usually don't write any ratings for anything, but after reading the past two terrible comments, I had to speak up! I imagine those two must have a personal issue with Dr. Sun, rather than a real complaint about his work as a dentist. Just call his office, and schedule a consult and you will NOT regret it!!

BEWARE! HIDDEN CHARGES & FEES! It's been a year since I had my wisdom removed from this dentist and I have 2 claims opened against them. One with my dental insurance because they failed to submit the paperwork for my coverage, instead they kept billing me monthly. Like the other reviewer, their 'billing line' is a machine that takes a message; no answer, no call back. After the claim opened from the insurance company, they charged my credit card- UNAUTHORIZED! I have a claim open against them for keeping my CC# on file and charging it without my permission. They are unfriendly, cheaters, a bunch of thieves and they will NOT make your experience a good one. Avoid at ALL COSTS! (Cause it'll cost you big time).

Unprofessional to the highest degree!
