I called for a ride from Homewood to the airport, but the cab never came. The dispatcher even called and said the cab was pulling-up in my driveway. Unless the cab driver was Wonder Woman in her invisible jet, the cab never came. I called back twice. The first dispatcher was curt. The second one was empathetic and apologetic - but still no cab ever came. Almost missed my flight. On Yellow Cab, I vote "no". But they've got a monopoly on the Greater Birmingham area so you're bound to get screwed either way.

although I wasnt crazy about not being able to just 'show up' to see an agent...I have to tell ya...it seemed like they respected MY time as much as theirs which was a nice change from other companies. There was no pressure and our agent took a ton of time to understand exactly who were we. As a result...we ending up not going where we thought we wanted to go but where she recommended and I have to tell you it was the greatest trip we've ever had! Kudos (did I spell that right?) to Greystone Travel Agents!! We will definitely call them again because they made us feel special and we were on a tight budget, for sure. If you want to do busienss with people who really care about the outcome rather than their commission...this is the place!

I am so blown awa by these ladies that I found 2 different listings on City Search and wanted to express my happiness on both (just in case!). At first, I thought is was a pain to have to make an appointment but it turns out that this is to ensure that you have your own personal uninterrupted time with the agent which is cool. It made me and my fiance feel more important to them and; after all the great info and money saving tips that we got (not to mention the best itinerary ... my fiance is lovin me for this one!) We didnt even go where we'd planned (st lucia). At our agents insistance, we went to Ireland! Where is it written that non-beach people must go to a beach for their honeymoon, our agent said. WOW, what a trip!!! We cant wait to go back...at least to Greystone Travel ....we now joke that .."who knows where we will end up after we go there?". Our travel agent said that 70% of her clients really have no clue where THEY should go which is why Trip Advisor has so many negative comments. It being our honeymoon, she had a saying that went something like this...."your honeymoon memories will last the lifetime of yoru marriage so it better be a good memory!" Well, thanks Greystone Travel....it was and we have recounted the trip many many times already (and we JUST got home!!). As well, we are recounting our cash because Ireland saved us a bundle!! She even told us how to get the best deal on Euros!!

We stayed there in April and loved the place. The suite was spacious and clean. The restaurant was good. If I had one con I would say they should limit the number of kids allowed in the pool. There were 14 girls celebrating a birthday party there. The sounds of the screams and laughter was deafening there. However, the margaritas in the bar were excellent, and made up for the distress.

was qouted a price as a truck driver here in the birmingham area and was counting on a certain rep that booked my load for me and he failed to tell me that the load had been cancelled and i drove over 100 miles to pick up load to be told load had been cancelled and I with my on eyes saw the canceled paperwork which was signed by employee of the so called greatest thing since sliced bread so drivers be ware of this sorry company who fails to follow up with the drivers

I made the mistake of booking travel online because I thought it would save me money and Expedia was so quick to give me pricing when the agent took all day. But, then after I starting getting more involved in the 'process' with the agent..i realized...THIS IS PERSONAL SERVICE! Not only was Greystone's prices less than the online agencies but they helped me make a great decision on where to go and what to do which, in my opinion, was PRICELESS!! The recommendations I was given for my destination were spot on! It truly made the entire experience great! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AGENCY and I feel good that I am not giving my tax money to another agency in another state by booking online. Anyone who books online either has nothing to do all day but look at all those ridiculously confusing websites or are ignorant to the difference. I will never let anyone handle my travel again except Greystone Travel! Thanks again, Angela!!!
