It's interesting, as it's a very nice resort but it's surrounded by strip-mall type Circle K's and whataburger. Immediately East (like next door) is Diablo Stadium, where the Angels play Spring ball, so that's pretty cool. At any rate, the grounds are excellent, as are the couple restaurants on the premise, and the lobby area bar had a gorgeous view looking north upon Phoenix and the mountains. It's built alongside a mountain, and as such the hotel kind of hooks around on 3 levels, and since I'm on one of the end it takes me about 10 minutes to walk it. But all in all, nice place, great rooms, and if you're here in the winter, plan on $290 a night even on weeknights.
