Stay away from this place. They charge a bunch of time and money to "figure out what the problem is", which involves removing your transmission. Then, surprise!, you need a new one.

Oldest trick in the book. Can't believe we fell for it.

Again, stay away from this place!

It's a very interesting process to meet and work with thousands of customers every year. Motorcycles are an emotional purchase by people that ride for a very wide range of reasons. Regardless of brand, type of riding one prefers, our common DNA is that we all have a passion for the freedom motorcycles offer us. Motorcycles are fun simply because they are. Bikes also are an escape for many. The demands placed on people by work, under very stressful times, demands on one by family and a galaxy of other concerns make motorcycles more than simply an amusement. It's part of one's future. People look forward to their next ride because the ride is the freedom they crave and the solitude inside that helment that keeps one "sane" in a World of ever increasing pressures and distractions. Riding a motorcycle well is a liberation. Setting up one's line in a series of sweet switchbacks, then executing the movements beautifully in seconds in a way is the rider's break through to the other side of life. It's athletic, skill, art, poetry, and confirms that yes indeed joy is to be found in life in a very simple act. Riding well. I can't begin to estimate how many of our customers have smiled and told me they ride "because it's cheaper than a psychiatrist". I sincerely wish everyone that visits us could ride away with an expression of pleasure on their face. When we know someone does not, yes, it does keep us awake at night. We think about that on our "day off" when in theory we should be doing something for ourselves. We care. I'm on my day off right now thinking about this. My Dog and Cat need a Vet visit. I need to buy groceries. I need a shave. I need to wash my car. I need to ride one of my bikes! People that work at motorcycle shops are carbon based life forms just like people that don't. We share the same requirements, and have the same feelings as do you. We are all alike. I ought to go to Church more often. I ought to sit and take time to enjoy a well shaken Martini more often. But we care. We do our absolute best to please. About twice a year I go home with a bad taste in my mouth because I have to invite someone not to return to see us because it's simply obvious that some expectations are not possible to meet. Some people simply can't be pleased. Picture someone making an attack on a member of your family. A wise person makes an effort to see if the family member is in the wrong and need correction. Just because it's "your kid" does not mean they are never in the wrong. A good General Manager has to be fair to the public and our employees. The wisdom of Solomon I do not have. I do have the desire to be fair. I read of the dented fuel tank. The irony is that in about the same month another person claimed we dented his tank. I respectfully asked him "which dent do you mean?" The bike looked like it had been through a hail storm. He pointed out a faint shadow of a dent in a sea of dings. I asked our tech in private if he thought he may have caused the shadow. Our techs are encouraged to be open and tell me if we make an error so we can make it right. I budget "good will" funds every year to cover a mistake we may make and also to cover a customer's perception even when they are mistaken. I had much rather avoid confrontation. Confrontation's negative energy takes too much out of one's quality of life. I paid to have the shadow lifted as I could see the customer really thought we were at fault. We're in this together. Let's work together? We really do care and do our best to please everyone all of the time. Is it possible to please everyone you know 100% of the time? I say that in good nature. In closing, thank you everyone for your efforts to ride with us, visit us, and be a friend of the dealership if you spend a dime with us or not. We're all different, and just alike. Let's ride well together and not bump handelbars in the twisties? Please stop by and say hello. We look forward to your next visit.

I had an excellent car buying experience with General Manager Randy Visser of Serra Nissan. He was careful to match my car with my family. I have always had great service from the dealership. The people there did a super job of finding me what I needed not just trying to sell me what they had on the lot.

The entire staff was a pleasure to work with at Serra Nissan. They made purchasing our Nissan Armada as seamless as possible. Furthermore, they continue to offer great service even after the sale. We have been extremely pleased! A special thank you to the General Manager who went above and beyond our expectations.

Serra Nissan of Birmingham has to be the most family oriented establishment I have had the pleasure of being employed at. The management team here is oustanding and always willing to lend a helping hand with their customers and employees. I have personally witnessed remarkable team effort and leadership on everyone's end. Thank you to Randy Visser, Greg Boyles, and Gerald Shepard for being the leaders and drivers of this winning team!!

I am located off 280 and actually drive further to Serra Nissan because of their staff and service. Mark Nenadic has personally assisted me and I didn't even realize he was the Service Director until later. I like working with people that back up their words with their work.

I continue to be impressed by the friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff at Serra Nissan. From management and sales to the service department, I feel as I am valued as a customer, which is very important to me when making such a large purchase decision. I would refer them to my friends and family.
