When I called them for a quote, I got blown away. They were good enough to making me understand the loopholes and traps of the movers who quoted really low. It was good that they did not hide anything from me. I was convinced and agreed to pay them more from the other movers. after the move, I am very happy with what I paid to them. They were simply excellent. Movers had their own ways of doing the job. They were very innovative and somehow they amazed me with all their uncommon ways. I also appreciate their honesty and I do believe that they charged me a very competitive amount. There was no hidden charge involved. They are really different from other movers. I strongly recommend them.

If I give my honest opinion about them then I have to say that they are the best option available. These guys know how to satisfy their customers. Movers were efficient, caring and very friendly plus super-fast. They also charged lower than the other movers. Moving On Up is the perfect example of class and service.

I moved to new home last week and fortunately I got a perfect move. I had some bitter experiences about the movers but last time movers of Moving On Up compensated that. They were very professional. They arrived on time and they were well equipped with all necessary tools, truck was in great condition and they did everything according to the checklist. It was a very smooth performance during the whole move. I did not feel the move at all and they took very little time to accomplish the job. Over all it was a happy move for me. I would like to use them again.

I would highly recommend MR. Montero and his assistant. I became a client of MR. Montero over 6 years ago and they helped me with a very complicated divorce that involved custody, property and support. I had a different attorney prior to Mr. Montero that did not represent me as I thought I should be. MR. Montero and his assistant have been awesome! They are fair and just. They know the law! They went above and beyond what I had experienced with my previous attorney. They explained the process thoroughly and guided me through a yearlong battle. In the end everything was divided evenly and they protected me and my relationship with my children. They are very kid orientated and 6 year later my children still ask if we can stop by and see MR. Montero and his assistant when we are in the area.

If your looking for an attorney that will do the right thing and be fair, look know further. Mr Montero and his assistant are it!

This one of the worst banking insitutions our corporation has ever worked with. We have our business, home loan, personal loan accounts here and from the top down when they make a mistake on payroll, ACH, billpay they try their best to blame it on the customer. Our corporation made a deposit for payroll services before the agreed time of collection that did not process. All employees checks were late. I called the next day to ask "what happened". They told us "our transfer was late".
Well when we made the deposit. I printed a time stamp and reciept from their Tri Counties Bank Online website. They still argued with me and said "there are sometimes time or minute differences". Our time is set to the National Time Standard and auto changes along with the exact time of all cell phone devices, etc.
The fact is they made a mistake (Toni Wilson) cash management services manager and will not accept blame, apologise or even acknowledge the mistake. In fact as a representative and manager of Tri-Counties Bank she will blame it on you as the customer.
OUR EMPLOYEES DEPEND ON THEIR CHECKS ON THE SAME DAY EACH WEEK. WE CANNOT DEPEND ON TRI-COUNTIES BANK TO ASSIST IN HANDELING DIRECT DEPOSITS FOR OUR CORPORATION.
CASH MANAGEMENT SERVICE AND CUSTOMER RELATIONS ARE TERRIBLE!

***AVOID JOHN MONTERO***

John Vincent Montero (aka John V Montero, attorney at law, or Montero Law), Sacramento, California.

John Montero sounds very persuasive when you go in for your initial consultation but once he gets your money, he does very little for you. Each month he sent me bills for his "attorney fees". The fees kept going up each month. Each time my ex's attorney sent John a letter, he would charge me at least $100.00 (sometimes $150.00 or more) just to make a copy of the letter to file a copy in my file and send me a copy to my address. Then I would have to call him to schedule a phone or in person appointment to go over the documents that was sent from my ex's attorney. He would charge me another $150.00 or more just to tell me what the documents were about. Then he would charge me again to file the reply in court and the fees very easily added up to over $5,000.

What did I get for the $5,000? No help from John Montero, other than him telling me what the documents were about (which I can do myself by reading the document) and photocopying and filing the papers in a file that he created for me.

My ex through her attorney filed petition in court to ask for spousal support. My ex understated her income. I asked John to subpoena my ex's paycheck but he didn't. But my ex's attorney subpoeaned my paycheck. Later on on my own, I found was able to show that my ex had understated her income. Then instead of bringing the lie (the understatement of income my ex filed in her petition) to the judge's attention to have the spousal support terminated for the lie, John got together with my ex's attorney and then he pressured me into accepting the lower spousal support (based on the correct income) but he never for even once bring to the court's attention that my ex had lied about her income.

It was same situation with division of property. My ex wanted to get half of the value of my car (which I bought before marriage), wanted half of my bank balance, etc. but my ex didnt even list her car as the community property. I had to bring to court a copy of my car registration to show that I had purchased my car before marriage and therefore it was my separate property. John didn't even ask my ex to show a copy of her car registration. I told John that my ex had purchased the car during marriage but she didnt list it as community property but John didnt even bring that to courts attention or subpoena my ex to bring a copy of her car registration. As for the money in my bank account, I was married to my ex for less than a year and the money I had in my bank account was what I had saved before marriage. I was unable to save much money during marriage because I was spending most of the money to go out on honey moon, vacation, dinner out, movies, etc. But when I was single, I was able to save that money slowly over 5 years until I got married. I tried telling John that money is not community property because it took me 5 years to save that money but John didnt help me fight to keep that money. At the end, I had to give half of that money and half of pretty much everything else I had (even though I had some of those items such as the money before I got married) (I was able to keep my car only because I had the car registration to show that I had purchased the car before getting married) but in return I got nothing from my ex, even though she had purchased the car during marriage and she was able to save money during marriage (because I was the one paying all the bills, for movies, for dinner, etc) and she was saving her money.

I am not the only one who had the bad experience with John Montero. You can read other reviews at: http://www.avvo.com/attorneys/95825-ca-john-montero-354150/reviews.html#69788

Therefore, I would say that I know divorce can be very hard experience to go through and you need a good attorney who is on your side, who fights for your rights and gets the judgement that is fair for both parties. John Montero is not that attorney. If I had read the reviews I would have never retained John Montero.
