Towson University is a good basic university that offers a variety of majors and classes. The professors are outstanding and I was very happy with my education. However, the dorm experience is not great. There is a lot of hardcore partying and, if you are a serious student, it can be frustrating. Not all of the administrative offices are great either. I had an issue just simply receiving my degree. Each time it was sent to me, it had a typo or a mistake. Now I have 3 different degrees for the same major sitting in my closet. If I combined all 3, I would have one full correct degree.

I am highly dissatisfied with the level of care, or shall I say lack thereof, that this center provides. The Director Ms. Pearson is a highly unprofessional, deceitful, unintelligent, ignorant, and blatantly discourteous individual. Furthermore, she does not properly attend to crucial matters that concern the children’s well-being and safety. My attorney has had to contact the center regarding their ongoing failure to adhere to the court-order custody arrangement between my ex-husband and me. Her response was an unintelligible and irrelevant letter missing the central matter at hand; my son’s welfare. I would strongly discourage any parent that truly cares about their child from enrolling in this center.

I was surprised when I walked into what I thought would be a dive bar. The WindUp Space is spacious and rather minimalistic, but done with taste. I skeptically attended a meet-up type event here, but it turned out to be the perfect spot for us (until about around 9pm when musicians started loading in- but we had been forewarned). They have live music most nights, sometimes dj's. Looking at their calendar, they seemed to have a really diverse/eclectic array of musical styles represented- rock, jazz, folk, electronic, etc. The day I was there was an experimental jazz outfit which, while not for everybody, I found quite enjoyable. And the bartender was super.
