I had the worst customer service experience at LensCrafters on Columbus Circle today. I went for my eye exam appointment, got there early, checked in with the guy at the front desk and then was looking at frames while I waited. 20 minutes later I found out that because the guy at the front desk hadn't told the woman who worked there that I was there for an appointment, it was too late for me to see the doctor. She said I could try to stay another 40 minutes and hope to get in, but since I was on my lunch break, that wasn't possible. She then asked if I could come back after work, which I said I could, but then she told me there weren't any appointments!! What a joke!! I never get pissed at bad customer service because I've been there, we all have bad days and make mistakes. But I felt like they couldn't give a crap about me!! They were more concerned with the person who had the 1 p.m. appointment, even though they weren't even in the store yet!! I'm looking for a new place to get my exam, glasses and contacts, and I hope you do, too!
