My brother had to be housed somewhere and Good Samaritan Inn took him in. We would have loved him to live with family, but because of circumstances out of our control, this was not possible. My brother, Ricardo Enrique Cacanindin never complained to us about his living conditions at Good Samaritan Inn in Tampa, Florida.
He was severely injured in an automobile accident last October, 2009. He is never going to make it through this summer though. He is in a vegetative state and will never wake up. His whole body is breaking down now. I need someone's help at Good Samaritan Inn. You see, even though I am his sister, and we spoke a lot on the phone, I never really knew about him and his love for things. Now we must arrange for funeral services soon, and his siblings want everything arranged the way Rick would want it if he had a chance to tell us. Here is what I need from someone at Good Samaritan Inn.
Things he would like people to see at his funeral service.
His favorite music and his favorite person(s) he idled in the celebrity world.
His favorite poem or books he liked to read.
Names of his friends and their telephone numbers or addresses where they can be written to.
If anyone out there can send this information to me (even in bits and pieces), it would so be much appreicated.
Rick was nice to everyone and he liked everyone to have fun in their lives. He lit up any room with his humor. He will be surely missed. We all loved him so much, and we are so sorry for the life he had to live. We couldn't even protect him from people that did him wrong.
God Bless All of you At Good Samaritan Inn. You are in the Cacanindin's prayers forever.
Sincerely,
Audrey C. Smith
