My child attended Primrose for 3 years for a tuition of over $10,000 per year. His reading and math skills were below his age group during his time there. The curriculum looks awesome on paper but their ability to make it a reality is lacking. Once he started first grade at the nearby public school, his scores increased to above average and his behavior improved also. I have sent our other two children to a different daycare/school and I have noted a mark improvement in their development compared to our oldest. I would not recommend the Primrose at Sonoma Ranch.

I went to GTZ driving school many years ago and I wish the Internet was around when we were searching for schools because I had a bad experience. I was about 16 or 17 when I took the course and the owner, who was also the driving instructor, was rude, intimidating, and unapproachable. I was pretty shy back then so I would not speak up and let me tell you, I did not look forward to the evenings I went to class. All the owner and his brother, another driving instructor, would have us do is drive them to different convenience stores to buy junk food for themselves! I don't recommend this driving school.

My daughter started attending in September 2009 in their Pre-K class. Upon preparing for Kindergarten, I chose to pay for the year of private Kindergarten versus public school. She is flourishing there and absolutely loves her class, her teachers, and all staff there.

It is family focused, has an excellent balanced-learning curriculum, and most importantly, the kids have FUN while learning. Knowing that my child is in a school that still recites The Pledge of Allegiance and says grace before meals is comforting to me.

I would highly recommend Primrose School at Sonoma Ranch. It is a wonderful place.

the classroom wasn't too hard. Mr. g made the class interesting kinda. learned alot i didnt know. he helped me alot with passing my permit test after i failed the first time. (its hard) but he lent me this old tape that had everything i needed to know to pass. i watched it like 10 times!! i posted this cus i read another persons comments. i was in the car a couple times when me or other students nearly wrecked us because we werent paying attention to the instructor and he never yelled or lost his cool. i dont know where those other people went to school but i dont think it was there.

It's difficult to find a center that cares for children as much as the Children Center does!!! My youngest child attended the after-school summer program, and absolutely loved it. It was difficult trying to get him to leave!

My child attended this center for around 6 years. We consider the Children Center family, which is fitting consider the friendless and environment this daycare offers.

Yeah, I went to school in the NSISD, and the schools are very good, at least they were at the time.
There are a lot of newer schools, especially new high schools, and NSISD may be one of the bigger school districts in Texas. Since the school district is growing so much in attendance, I'm just afraid that financial resources of the district will be spread out too thin and classrooms and schools will become overcrowded. Actually, when I was in school myself, the high school was very overcrowded with a huge attendance, this wasn't some little old country school!

You were reading a complaint about Sylvan Learning Center. Filing a new complaint about Sylvan Learning Center is a ripoff. They play off of parents' complaints and have them enthusiastically sign on for tutoring, which is what happened to us at the San Antonio, TX office. Well, once they get your money, the directors you spoke to could care less the quality of tutoring received or the guarantees they broke. We decided not to go for their loan, pay cash, but half up front. Well, that was the best thing we did because our daughter's reading skills never increased because the tutors were reading to her, instead of allowing her to practice reading. We stopped going after 28 hours since it's basically a waste of time. When I asked my daughter what she did, she would say they just read to her or finished her homework. Our daughter's reading and math skills developed when we spent more time with her every night. Therefore, we're not paying for a service never received, now we have the tasteless San Antonio Director calling us demanding payment. Parents: Take the time to work with your children or pay their existing teacher to do some one-on-one tutoring. Sylvan is just another shady corporation trying to make a dime off of concerned parents. Before considering, please read the following links and keep in mind, some Sylvan directors have no problems posing as "pleasantly pleased parents": www.consumeraffairscom/education/sylvan.html nslogcom/2005/06/14/sylvan_learning_center_rips_off _teachers
