I live in Vancouver, BC and have been coming down for over 40 years to Seattle to get my flute collection maintained. I used to go to their old shop downtown on the top floor of an office building
(how did they ever get those big machines up there ???) This is an exceptional company that mostly builds flutes but repair and sell as well. They have fixed flutes that nobody else could (or would.)
Every time I have the yearly maintenance done to my Brannen, it's as good as new ! Only 3 people work there so you always get great personal service. Highly recommended to professionals, students and amateurs !

This is the kind of place that makes me momentarily wish my kids were still children, or that I was a grandfather.

Only momentarily, however, particularly on the former part of that.

This is an entertaining place to wander around, with two levels of toys, games, puzzles and assorted amusement devices. It's located just off Pioneer Square and draws a fair tourist crowd, and a small collection of homeless beggars outside, several of whom have extremely entertaining schticks.

This has been a favorite Seattle haunt of mine since I discovered it a few years ago, tucked into a small, efficient, yet airy space just off Pioneer Square.

It contains good blend of both new and used books, with a small sprinkling of rarities, tended by a friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Stay away from this site if you are ordering from outside the US! The sizes are erroneous (deadly .. example : a 29 fits a 34) and then .. the return policy : more than one month to have your return handled, no refund for most of the items, which leaves you with having to purchase items you do not want to use your balance. With every time, more than 30 euros of shipping. Bottom line : you will not be able to actually get stuff in exchange for your money, since you will be paying for the shipping back and forth until you just lose interest.

I had high hopes for this place - it looked promising, but I was disappointed. I walked in the door and there was no receptionist. Eventually, one of the women giving another client a pedicure asks why I'm there. I told her I had an appointment. Very awkward introduction. Our appointments start 40 minutes late. We would have left except we were using a pre-paid coupon deal. There are very few nail lacquer colors available. While I wouldn't say the salon is dirty, it is messy. While they weren't rude, the staff was not friendly and kept conversing amongst themselves as if we weren't there. I went with two other friends and we each got manis/pedis, but sitting side by side, it looked like we were each getting different procedures because each technician did things differently. The pedi exfoliating and buffing were haphazard and not thorough. The nail lacquer application was sloppy. Even though I received a deep discount through the coupon, I still feel like I overpaid.

Best variety and selection of Roxy clothing for women in Seattle. Whether you are a surfer,. a beach bum, or just like the look, this is the place to go to make you feel sexy and cool with a "surfer girl" look. All the best brand names -- Reef, Quicksilver and more for guys and girls, and conveniently located right on Seattle's best beach. Need I say more?

I feel the need to let the world know about RJW Guitar Repair in Tukwila. I had just purchase a Washburn N4 from eBay used for $1100, new they go for $2000. While setting the guitar up I broke the end off of the faulty truss rod. I contacted Washburn and they wanted $900 and the body for at least 6 months. I then got in touch with some of the “hot shot” guitar guys in my area, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that I have dealt with in the past. Most of them said "that’s a shame, that can’t be fixed, that’s the kiss of death for a guitar, I can’t fix it". The one person that said they would try told me at least $700 and there are no guarantees. I then got into contact with Stephen Davies about building a new neck; he was the man behind creating/building the very first N4’s (Stephens Extended Cutaway fame). He got back to me and said he would recommend someone if I wanted him to, of course I did. I received an email from Richard, owner of RJW Guitar Repair telling me it would be no problem and he could certainly fix it. He told me about his history with Davies (he was his 1st employee) and all of his years of experience working with him and also on his own, I knew he was the man for the job. He quoted me a price (way less than the ones previously mentioned) sight unseen and I immediately sent my neck on a 2,500 mile journey. Throughout the whole process Richard kept in contact with me through email (pictures) and telephone calls. He also did a ton of extra work (new frets, patch to fix truss rod trough, etc…) to make the neck repair perfect. When the job was finally done I was expecting to pay a hefty price for all of the extras, to my surprise, he charged me the price he quoted me which in my opinion was way less than it should have been. The neck is on the guitar and the truss rod and new frets are perfect! I wish I wasn’t 2500 miles away but I’m sure I will send all of my guitars to Richard whenever any work is needed. So, to all of you people local to Seattle, you really should take your guitars to RJW Guitar Repair. It was the best decision I ever made and I’m 2500 miles away!!!!!! Thanks for taking the time to read all of this, it’s worth it, trust me.

I had a wonderful experience shopping here and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I don't have many choices at home so this was a blast.

In 2006 I purchased a new 2006 V6 Base, Toyota Rav4 from Rebecca, and the experience was easy, professional and seamless. After 3 years of trouble free issues with the car, I gave it to my Mom, who needed a dependable vehicle. After the Toyota, I thought I wanted an expensive, maintenance-riddled Land Rover / Range Rover HSE, and after 1 year said 'enough was enough'. I called Rebecca, and admittedly, I had reservations to go back to a Toyota after the "Range Rover Experience". Rebecca made the transition painless. I requested copies of invoices, various vehicle demos, different pricing scenarios, *etc., etc.*, and after about a 1-week process, she absolutely maintained her professionalism. I’ve been to other stores, and if you’re not ready to purchase, after an hour of grueling sales pitch – don’t let the door hit you on the way out! My favorite quote from Rebecca: "I’m here to help, and as much as I’d like to sell you a vehicle, I’d much rather have you totally confident and comfortable about your decision." I was sold! I called her, and had her come into the store – on her day off- , to purchase my new Rav4. I was so happy with the vehicle, and the transaction, I showed it off to my good friend – who purchased an identical vehicle from Rebecca, the next day. From past experience, Greg at the Gold Team is incredible; Duane in detail works magic on the scuffs and bumps of life. All in all, I’ll keep recommending ‘Toyota of Lake City’, and they have my future business. Good job!
