It's a convenience store, not a grocery store.

That being said, for me it is a very convenient convenience store. It's just a couple blocks away, and is a good place to go for a cold drink if you want something like ice tea or juice, as the vending machine selection here is mostly limited to pop and energy drinks.

It's pretty good pizza, but not quite as good as the hype in this town would have you believe.

A lot of people love Atlas, but I'm not a fan. They are overpriced, and the one time I did go there they served me a warm beer. If you can't manage to serve cold beer, you don't deserve my business.

I've only eaten at Micky's once. They're known for their burgers, and it was a good burger. But Micky's is also a bar, and during my first couple years of grad school I used to go there on Wednesday nights on a fairly regular basis because they had dirt cheap margaritas and free chips and salsa.

"Dirty John's", as it's commonly known around here, does have a great beer selection, but I've never bought food here, even though I commonly walk past it on my way to and from my car. The food is very expensive, and according to people who have done their grocery shopping here, it isn't uncommon for expired food to be on the shelf, and for certain items to be covered in dust.

I probably do 95% of my grocery shopping at this Aldi store. Since it's on the south side of town it is a bit out of my way, but it's worth it for the money I save.

They do have some high quality products, but the prices are too high to justify shopping there. My primary problem with the co-op is the clientele. Hipsters flock to this overpriced grocery store in droves. It's kind of like a Trader Joe's, only it's even more expensive. If I go in this store, I am almost guaranteed to see someone that gives me on overwhelming urge to punch them in the face. They're probably buying some sort of organic soy garbage.

As a chain, I'd give Bruegger's three stars. But this particular location gets an extra star for being in a ridiculously convenient location. I can walk out the back door of the lab I work in, walk down the driveway, cross the street and I'm there. If you're just getting a plain bagel, or a bagel with butter, their prices are pretty reasonable (a dollar and change). Add cream cheese, and it's over $2.

Sandwiches on the other hand are ridiculously priced compared to other places in the area, as a relatively small bagel sandwich will run you in the neighborhood of $5. Their drinks are also a bit on the pricey side, as their bottled cold drinks are significantly more expensive than equivalent drinks at the closest convenience store which is within easy walking distance.

This was the first Panchero's that I had been to and it was great! The service was really good, the food was great!
