First of all I have never been lived in a place where you can't get in contact with the next person in charge. Talking to the managers that are in the building is like talking to a developmentally challenged child.
And there is no shame in my game I give names and all... Liz, the one with the accent in River Park Lofts, is not professional, has an attitude problem, has told a friend of mine that she didn't want to rent to people with babies because of the noise, and has lied on tenants and gotten caught in these lies multiple times. She only still has a job here because she is the owner sister-in-law. They don't listen and they tell everyone's business.
When you ask to speak to their boss it's like asking to see the face of God! It's like living in a college dorm. Then you have rules that are only enforced when some one complains about something. The hallways always smell like cat urine yet they don't want dogs above a certain floor. The 227 Iron St building is the one that I am speaking of btw... The elevator has been on a roll the past few months but don't get it twisted, it will go out and either leave you stuck inside or walking up and down the 5 flights.
Parking is outrageous sometimes especially with the business that are all the way around the first floor. Every monday when I go out to Mount Elliot Park behind the building to walk there is always a new area of shattered glass... so your car will get jacked on the street... but don't worry, we have security one night a week (saturday) that sits in one area and spends most the night in the building or at the gas station and for every other night of the week we have a parking lot.... the gate is currently broken and open to the parking lot and has been for the past 4 days and even when it's closed your car will still get broke into and stolen (it has happened) but you pay $55.00 for this sense of security...smh!
Other than a great view (as long as your not facing the graffitti covered abandoned warehouse directly across the street) and the nice tenants there is no reason to live in this building or any of Boydell buildings for that matter. All the tenants in the John R Apartments keep even the dry cereal and chips in the fridge and all have cats.... wonder whats haunting their food over there????

Just a beautiful place to live by the water. Even though you're right in the city, you also feel like you live in a peaceful community. Great neighbors, friendly valet. Building management considerate and capable of handling a building of its size. A wonderful, beautiful building!

I like this place at first because it was a townhouse and that is what I was looking for. After shown the town house that I was to take I started to realize everything else. Nothing was upgraded all most all the stairs are crumbling around the complex are , they advertise ac but they don't actually work and many of the ac are missing. My lease is up in two months and I will go running out of here its a shame. Also last but not lease the management and staff is horrible.

They damaged my fruniture, they dont use ANY padding while moving, their comunication is very unprofessional, they have tricks to up the hourly price, they send out teen agers instead of professionals, which is another trick so they are slower and add more time to your move, which means more money for them!! their customer service Rep, Marie, and the owner is so unprofessional you wonder why they are still in business, They are contractor's through O'Sullivan Moving co. p.s. They have high hidden fee's THEY ARE DOWN RIGHT HUSSLERS

Todd Cawthon is a cult leader at ekklesia san antonio, in san antonio, tx. his wife had an affair with a man that todd called a prophet by the name of david. todd uses different methods to control people. if you do not take his advice, you are rebellious. a woman is not allowed to argue with her husband or she is commiting witchcraft and is rebellious. he is your authority, and if you continue in sin (whatever he says is wrong)he kicks you out of his cult.anyone outside of his church is worldly and wicked. people are told they should not cast their pearls upon swine when outside family members are telling them he is a cult leader. he always makes jokes at the expense of other churches. he preaches one thing but does another. one of his many ways of manipulating. i hope this helps a lot of people and prevents them from getting involved with this man. he wants money. he says he doesnt need your money, chances are the rent on the church building and his house are 6 months behind and he gave his car away to bless someone, yeah right, it was probably towed away because he could not keep insurance on it or to even get it out of the impound. he will call and meet for breakfast with you until you have no money, then he moves to the next family with a little money.he says he hears from God and calls himself apostle todd. look at any pics- google him, even in his pics he looks wicked, look at those eyes!
