Expensive and poor service. We had a one-year service contract and scheduled an appointment to have our gas fireplace serviced. Firm said they would call us the day before appointment to confirm 4-hour window. They did not call, so I had to call them to confirm a 1-5 pm window. They did not show up for the appointment and called me at 7 pm that dat to reschedule for 8:30 a.m. the next morning with no apology. As of 9:30 a.m. the following day, they still did not show. We then called, found out that we had been scheduled for an 8-12 window (despite their earlier assertion that they would come at 8:30 a.m.), and canceled. We will never use this firm again.

Called them on a Sunday (memorial day) at about 5:30pm because my A/C broke. To my surprise a young man answered and told me he would try his hardest to get someone out here tonight and if not tonight by 10am the following day (monday). i thought oh well he'll be here tomorrow. At 8:45pm my phone rang and it was a Cyprus air technician that said he was in route, and at 9:15pm a big blue Cyprus air truck pulled up and the technician came to my door. by 10pm he was gone and my a/c was beginning to work. he only charged me $89 for the service call at 9pm and an additional $250 to fix. i was so pleased i signed up for the maintenance agreement. I will definitely be recommending this company.

The service was good. However, we got totally ripped off with the price. We will never, ever use them for plumbing again. We were in a bind, they charged us $427.00 to replace a simple ring around the toilet that took 10 minutes. Yes, they told us the price before hand, but the toilet was leaking and it was Friday afternoon we had little choice to go with them.

The bottom line- unless you don't mind spending 200% or more on a simple service, go with them.

They came to my house and took all day and into the evening (after 9:00) to install a new HVAC unit. Needless to say there was no cooling after they left. The next day another rep spent all day trying ot get the unit to work. So - winter rolls around and no heat. Thye say that my circuit breaker was not adequate for the HVA unit - which they did not bother to tell me when they installed the unit. Next winter, the heat does not work again. They took all day to try to fix to no avail. After a second day they got it right. They tried to bill the credit card I used to pay for the original unit without my authorization. Bunch of a--holes. Do not do business with them even if it is an emergency - you are better off suffering an extra day in summer or winter waiting for a competent company.

Hey Kevin. Lonnie Robinson here. I wanted to take a moment and say, “Thanks!” When my sink was overflowing, I thought it was just a simple task of pouring Drano down the drain. Aaarrrgggh! Was I ever wrong! After several bottles of Drano and pots of hot boiling water, I decided to give you a call. You immediately came over and found the solution to my problem: a old pipe needed to be replaced. I really appreciate you and your help. I highly recommend you to all! You are the #1 "Washington DC Plumber"

We had a Saturday appointment, plumber cleared the tub and sink drain and gave me some tips on how to avoid the problem in the future. It costs slightly more than I thought it would, but the level of service was excellent. I appreciated the Saturday hours, because I did not have to take off work.

I called cyprus because my central air conditioning unit had died after 21 years in the middle of a 100+ degree heat wave. They were able to come quickly to give me an estimate (the only positive), one not very personable technician and his trainee. The not so knowledgable, but nice trainee was the one to explain everything to me, while the seasoned technician sat in the van. In the process of getting an estimate, he kept trying to push other services on me. They told me that I needed to replace my furnace (which is working perfectly well) along with the ac unit because of compatibility issues. Both at at total of $7000. Their "visit" cost me $89, after providing no service. Luckily I got a second estimate from R&B inc. and they said Cyprus was feeding me a line and under no circumstance would I also need to replace the entire furnace... maybe the interior coil, but not the entire furnace. Their estimate was over $4000 cheaper! STAY AWAY FROM CYPRUS! They just want your money!

Worst plumber ever! This plumber took the bathtub faucets apart, got an emergency call and dumped my job to take the higher paying job. He didn’t even put the faucets back together!
I called Spartan to find out who and when someone would come back and finish the job or at least put the faucets back together. The wrench wench who answered the phone was completely unfazed by the plumber's abandonment and was completely rude. I had to figure out how to put the faucets back together. They are spartan alright, spartan with competence and customer service.
