My Jany Banjo Banjo is fasioned after the Gibson Master Tone. In fact this Janey banjo sounds terrific and is for sale. It recently was played in the Tampa Preforming art center. Playing there with "The preservation Hall Dixieland Band."We got a standing ovation, two times. There is an Eagle carved in the back of the banjo. It is pristine and can be yours for $2,499. I am 70 years old now and it's time to quit. I've had some serious illness. [email protected] Get a hard case free too.

Went there for an eye exam. Everything looked fine and then got the call for the glasses. The left lens was out of focus. He typed in -1 in the lens strength instead of -4 and said that they would put a rush on it. So, I called back 7 days later asking where they were. I was told that just because they ask to put a rush on it does not mean that they'll do it. Called the 800-number and told them to get my glasses my Monday (3 days away) or I would cancel the order to get a refund. They call back later and say the glasses are in. When I get down there, the lenses are blotchy (almost as if the lens wasn't made evenly because it looked like it was still wet even though it was dry) AND they made the lenses for far-sighted people because when I looked at the glasses through the opposite side of the frame (convex side), it looked OK. Demanded my money back and am now looking to get my glasses at a different place. The guy must need glasses himself because he typed the order wrong and didn't check it. The lab didn't question why the right lens was at 20:100 vision and the left was at 20:30. He claims that he put it in correctly, but he clearly didn't or the lab just completely messed up making the lenses. Not worth $315 by any means and these were not bifocals. Very pricy. Don't let the $69 prices fool you. Never again. Horrible customer service at the store and the guy running the counter who looks like the autistic guy from Boston Legal is quite incompetent. Never even said sorry.....

When I enrolled in Petplan, I was told there was a waiting period before I could submit a claim. This was understandable and I confirmed when this waiting period would end with the representative enrolling me.

My very first claim was denied because I was still "in the waiting period". Even worse, this denial was never communicated to me. I had to call in to check on the claim after they put me through another billing cycle. Unbelievable.

I hope I can personally stop people from signing up for this terrible rip off.

Do not buy a pair of shoes at Hot Foot. Do yourself a favor and go to a department store. They have the worst customer service!

Got first jany custom tenor banjo in 1968,3 more . since.had them switched to plectrum. Had jim customize 2 since,with latest in 2004,a real show stopper.All have great growel when played with strong trem.Frets totally accurate,tested with tone generater.Sorry to hear of his passing.last year. Loudedest banjos,played red garter with no mike,told not to play so loud. Yes,Jim was a charicter,but new his trade,will miss him.Got hooked on Jany's while working with Johnny Ford in Detroit.I have played banjo prof. for 42 years .
