As a former student of TCS and now a college educator, I believe there is no better place to send your child. All of us can share experiences that would be detrimental to any organization, but actually having been a student of Temple Christian I can tell you that the school is second to none. The staff does it's job usually at a fraction of the salary paid to public school teachers, and it is done from a world view that does not compromise it's core beliefs for the sake of maintaining employment. In contrast to the people who expressed a negative perception of Temple, I would like to present a positive experience. When my parents divorced and my life as I knew it began to fall apart my coach, teacher, and youth pastor (yes all the same person) attempted my rescue. Jerry Siler, now the pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Temple was that person. Although his attempts did not save me from all of the negative choices that I made, it certainly was done on his own time from a heart filled with love. I can assure you that if this man was aware of the circumstances surrounding the previous writers comments, the outcome would have been much different. I have never known a man more caring or compassionate than Jerry. Therefore, I can only conclude that he was either not aware of the situation or the situation has not been accurately portrayed.
