The bodywork itself was great but they didnt reattach the splash guards under the front wheel wells. The right side came loose on the freeway and was torn off when it got caught under the wheel. When I pulled over to see what had happened I found all of the retaining screws in place (the splash guard, which i retrieved, was trashed from getting pulled under the wheel but almost all of the screw holes were intact) . I checked the left side guard and found five of the six or so screws were screwed UNDER the splash quard leaving only one screw holding it in place.

They accepted no responsibility and would not replace the splash guard. They even went as far as to say that the rigid plastic may have stretched around the screws while maintaining it's form. After a huge fight with the insurance they settled that if I purchased the new part (from them, so they would make a profit) then they would spend the 15 minutes to install it at no charge. I went to another shop for this... I wouldn't trust them with a tricycle.

If you think there is even a remote chance that you will need customer support for a problem then avoid this shop. You will pay for their oversights.

I had this gentleman detail my 4Runner today and I can't begin to describe how wonderful it looks. All of the nasty scratches, swirl markots and other imperfections are now gone. I have never had a vehicle detailed this good before. He really knows his business.
UPDATE: 6/1/11 - Purchased a used Acura MDX with some paint problems last week. Had Lovell work it over and it came out fantastic. Black paint shows all blemishes but Mr Hubbard removed them all and the old wagon looks new again. This man does not cut corners, he uses a multi-step
process to detail all vehicles. Most detailers just slap some wax on a buffer and go to work. Some don't even wash the vehicle.

The process started off wrong to begin with. When getting out of my truck there is no greeting, thank you for coming, watch your step, nothing. They half ass vaccumed out the truck, half ass pre-sprayed the grill and tires. After the wash going out to get in, windows were striked, they used the same rag to do the windows as they did to dry the body of the truck off. The interior was not completley wiped off, dash still had dust on it, and when I requested them to redo the windows and interior... ATTITUDE.....you really do not get what you pay for....

Saw this poor dog chained and padlocked in sub-freezing temps, sitting near the trash... I was pumping gas near-by. When I saw this dog he was trying to chew off the chain. Someone from the Tire Shop came out and made an excuse....there's no excuse for this cruelty. I took a photo of this incident.

Not that impressed with the westside location where we have taken our vehicles in on several occasions. It is close to our house, so it makes for easy pick-up and drop off. But whether it was for a brake job, shocks, A/C fix or a new clutch I always felt like I was overcharged. The Montgomery location was always great in the past so that may be worth trying. Stay away from the westside ETC.

I drove into the M&F auto dealership jn my piece of junk, wrecked, Saturn and to my surprise was greeted as if I had actually arrived in a Mercedes Benz. Matt Sessa was the sales person who came over and kindly introduced himself. He assisted me with narrowing the overwhelming decision of what type of vehicle I could both afford and enjoy. I did not buy a car that day as I was still aprehensive about what I really wanted to drive for the next 4 years. Matt was a no pressure kind of guy. He is very knowledgeable about all the vehicles I showed interest in and took considerable amount of time as I test drove several cars that day. Additionally, he printed and showed me all the car fax I requested. I told him I was really interested but had to think on it a bit longer.....about 3 months later I returned to Matt and upon my arrival he was still that friendly guy I initially encountered. I really expected he would have an evasive attitude as I have experienced with other car sales people, especially when I arrive for a second perusal of their lot. He was eager to help me test drive more cars until I figured it out all out. It took him half the night to get those numbers crunched for me and I drove home that night in a beautiful Infinity (a huge step up from my junky old Saturn). Thanks to Matt and the rest of the team at M & F auto I am yet another happy customer whom will return once again when the time is right for my next vehicle. I recommend everyone who's in the market for a decent vehicle allow this dealership to prove themselves to you too.
