Rock solid, to be sure.

Games, movies, et. al. I'm glad I own one.

But no backwards compatibility is a real issue. Can't play ps2 games? Or old ps games (doom?) It is the only serious strike against ps3. Let's see if they listened when they released ps4

I am personally a xbox360 loyalist, but even I cant say that 360 is better than ps3 in any way.

the online subscription for ps3 is FREE vs. $60 for xbox

the controller for playstations are considered the most comfortable

I love halo and cod(at least the first three) but honestly guys, some fps games cannot lay a finger on games like God of War III, inFamous, LittleBigPlanet 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Journey, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots, Uncharted 2, Heavy rain, or The Last of Us (GOD I love this game).

I have owned a Nintendo WII since it came out! It is outstanding, I could use my Netflix and also do Zumba while keeping myself active! IT is totally worth the cost and it doesn't brake like Xbox which gets viruses! It has lasted me about three years now since Christmas I got my money worth and still am! It has been a great experience and I take it on all my vacations to have fun in my hotel room!

My husband and I LOVE the potential of this system and finally it's starting to live up to all the hype. We've had the Wii U since Christmas 2012 and it's mostly been used as a very expensive netflix watching device ... but, in recent weeks they've released the virtual console and that's been a lot of fun for us! Being able to play the older games + the utilization of the game pad has been wonderful! I also appreciate the excellent pricing on old games - can't beat getting Mario World for $1! I look forward to more new games at a reasonable price soon.

All in all, I don't regret our choice in buying the system. It may be pricey - but, as a legally blind individual, the game pad is a HUGE deal for me! It makes playing games / seeing what's on the screen so much easier. For that I, alone, I give it 4 stars!

I was a late bloomer to the XBox 360 and only bought one about 8 months ago, and I must say that I love it. It was definately a worthwhile investment if anything just for the Xbox Live. I can not only buy games and apps, but watch Comcast, Netflix, Hulu and countless others. It's a great machine with plenty of power. It may not have the graphics of the PS3, but I am not going to complain.

i love the xbox 360 it has great graphics and most of the games are really fun to play and they take up your time if your bored i could spend hours and hours playing games like xcom or skyrim so i would def invest in an xbox 360
