I have two Eheim Ecco filters, one in a 46 gallon and one in a 50 gallon freshwater aquarium. Very easy to use.

This is a must have fish if you have a reef aquarium. It is a keen looking fish who is always searching live rock and reef for bits to eat. This includes, bristle worms and other "bad" elements of any reef tank.

May not get along well with other wrasse so add to your tank with care.

Somehow this added to Aquarium Filters...but I suppose it is sort of that.

Changing/cleaning the filter is kind of a pain but I've got it down.

I have had several HOTs over the years and they're pretty reliable. I have one currently on my reef setup to assist and aid in the cleaning, as well as moving water around, and it's great.

I do prefer turning it off when I feed because, like I mentioned, cleaning out the filter is a pain.

It's a great way to use Carbon or other filter medium and really helps gives the water that polished look.

I have three Zebra Danios in my aquarium right now. They are crazy and fun to watch. If I had a bigger aquarium, I would probably buy more.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and it is working better than I thought. I was using a small, cheap filter before purchasing this one, and so I have both of them working in the same tank. The canister filter alone left the water a little cloudy, but the combination of the two makes the water look pristine.

This filter works great. It's a good choice if you are becoming experienced with aquariums. Make sure you're OK with the price of the cartridges though. Also, this filter is pretty loud. I wouldn't recommend it if your aquarium is set up in your bedroom.

I own three of these and especially love the micron filter capability. The filters are very easy to clean and exceptionally well built. I use two of these on a 55 gallon live bearing baby tank and usually get a good month of high flow rates, alternating between cleaning one or the other every two weeks when using the carbon system. The flow rate goes down somewhat with the micron filter, but the water is left sparkling... A great trade off...
