I have one of these at home.

Hitting it actually simulates an actual impact with an opponent quite well in terms of weight.

I like being able to adjust the height to train techniques against opponents of varying heights.

The only thing I don't like is that I can't train roundhouse kicks to the leg.

These hand wraps do not have elastic and are not good (at least for what I needed them: cardio kickboxing class). The club owner said I should not use them as this may hurt my knuckles (he was okay with the gloves I bought from Everlast and actually said they were great, but not with this).

They were cheap and they work for wrapping your hands and wrists. They weren't particularly elastic and they feel like they will wear out pretty quickly but for around $2 its not bad to just practice with.

6 months ago I started taking Taekwondo lessons. As I progressed to Green Belt I have found the Original Wave Master in our class tips over with nearly every kick or punch. I am a very big guy, and though overweight and over 50, I spent a lot of time in my younger days lifting weights and playing sports. My legs are still exceptionaly strong. So that after 6 months my roundhouse kicks were knocking the old bag over everytime. So I decided to try the Wave Master XXL.

Very easy to setup. I am too cheap to buy sand, so I filled it with water. It does make a sloshing sound, but I haven't seen any spillage, and I have filled it to the brim.

I can unload my strongest roundhouse kick, and the bag will move a bit, but doesn't come close to tipping over.

So I am very pleased with the product, and recommend it to anyone that is a big hitter.

I have been wanting to purchase full coverage headgear so I can spar at full force using MMA gloves, elbows and knees. This headgear fits the bill perfectly! At only $30, its a great deal for anyone who needs more protection than boxing headgear can give. I'm going to buy another one this week!

I'm very fond of punching things, so I guess my parents thought it would be a good gift, they got it for me for christmas 2 years ago. This is an awesome bag. I live in an apartment, so I couldn't attach anything to a ceiling. This was a nice solution for people who move often, live in an apartment etc. Nice height adjustment, I'm 5'4 and it works perfect for me but can go up a lot higher for the men. Easy to move when it's not filled being the bag part comes off the bottom stand. Only downside: I live on the 2nd floor. When I hit it, it will tend to thump on the floor a bit. I have to be careful not to use it during off hours so I don't disturb my neighbor. It would be perfect in a basement!!

This bag is awesome. It doesn't move around much when you hit it, even for side, roundhouse and power front kicks, and is great for performing combinations on, and is easy enough to move when you flip it onto its side. It works well when filled with either water or sand, sand is a bit more stable though. All in all well worth the money.

For starters, this is a nice bag that can take a good punch, high or low kick and some heavy punishment. It's portable and doesn't need to be hung, so there's a lot of nice features if you're looking for a good bag and can't have the noise of it rattling the ceiling.

However, I bought this bag in January and my friend and I knocked it around for four months until the base of the 'stem' snapped. This is the place that gets all the stress, since with a heavy hit the base tips and this hollow plastic stem has to carry the stress of 250lbs of water or sand. (In my case, sand.)

Since, I got a new stem from the manufacturer, but after knocking it around for a few minutes I heard the same crunching sounds at the base of the stem. The hollow plastic stem doesn't hold up, and is the worst part of the bag's design.

If anyone else has had this problem--the solution I came up with was to cut a small circle in the vinyl at the top of the stem and then fill the stem with sand. (There's a small hole at the top of the stem.) The hollow plastic stem now has about 50lbs of sand in it and it feels much better to hit it. The bag doesn't move around, so there's a nice solid feel to the bag, and it's great for strength training. I'm going to add about 50lb more this week, so the total weight of the bag is now 350lbs, which can handle a lot of punishment. Now to see if this can last longer than 4 months! I'll come back in about 6 months with another review.

The Wavemaster Training Bag was purchased for my 24 year-old son. He said the interior of the bag was not solid enough and it skids around when he punches the bag. The bottom of the stand should have some sort of gripper on it so it doesn't slide. We have tried putting it on carpet and a rubber backing to no avail.

Has a lot of adjustment, is comfortable and does the job, all at a great price.

You'll want to wear a sweatband with it because any headgear as such will hold in heat.

I'm happy with it.
