Zopa Loans

Zopa is the place to go if you want a loan with great interest rates. We are currently funding two daughters through University (which costs an arm and a leg) so when I needed to replace our second car I immediately thought of Zopa. Having dealt with them before, I knew how efficient, professional and friendly their customer service is and had they not existed, savings would have been delved into as I would never have borrowed from the bank as their rates/terms are beyond a joke! As per a previous comment, I too was dubious of using a company out with the regular Financial/Banking Institutions but anyone out there looking to borrow, you can be assured they are first class to deal with. When money expert Martin Lewis recommended them, that was good enough for me. Keep up the good work Zopa - A very realistic business for very real people - I hope you go through the roof!!

Excellent, professional, responsive process to obtain my loan. I have already recommended to friends and work colleagues. My initial reason to choose Zopa was to bypass the arrogant banking system, but my early impression is of a far superior way to lend and borrow from a company that appears to have a refreshingly open and honest way to deal with their customers. Thank you thank you, I stumbled across this site via various research on the internet and am so happy that I did, I am now able to say goodbye to a financial rip off of 33.4% on a car finance, with Zopa I will now be paying just 8.2% and I am even more happy knowing it will be going to real people and not greedy institutions!!

What a five star service. I only found Zopa on a comparison site and their rates where by far the best compared to other lending establishments. After reading the great reviews I went for it. Easy application to complete, fast response and the lady who contacted me was extremeley polite. I did this six days ago and the loan has been paid into my account today. Fast service.. taking into account the weekend. I will certainly recommend Zopa to family and friends. The whole Zopa concept is excellant too!! Thank you Zopa.

As a small but fast growing UK based business we know how difficult it is getting finance at the moment - the banks and other lending organisations just dont want to lend and make this clear with stupidly high rates. Therefore Zopa is a fantastic idea for people looking for loans for any reason - the rates are great, the customer service is fantastic (when has anyone EVER said that about a bank !). We were introduced to it as a business by one of our employees who used them for a loan and they were so impressed by the speed and customer service that they said that we should look at them. We are not borrowing money but lending it and getting a fantastic interest rate back. The process is simple, very transparent and we can highly recommend them whether you are looking to borrow or have some money that you want to earn a great interest rate on !

I cannot emphasise enough how pleased I am about making the decision to apply for a debts consolidation loan with Zopa. I will be at least £250 a month better off after consolidating, no more credit cards or overdraft for me! I have tried for a while to make a fresh start, but after a relationship ended and I lived on my own again I never seemed to have any spare cash. This extra disposable income will make a huge difference to me and I can even start saving properly, something I have struggled with in the past. I can now budget and still have plenty left over instead of it being a monthly battle. I'm a Solicitor and therefore cannot go bankrupt (which I would never want to do but anyway) and even with this 'low risk' I could not get anyone to help me consolidate what I already owed. Well, the concept is very simple yet so very clever. Feels good having sense of community in a financial services product offering, after all it's always better borrowing money from a friend than a bank! My status is currently showing as 'under review' so reluctant to wax lyrical until I see a green light for the funds I have asked for however given the current financial climate, we need more innovative ideas that make our lives that bit easier and more enjoyable. I was very sceptical at first as Zopa was something I had never heard of. I applied as it was the best rate available....I was offered 29% off my mortgage lender and 18.8% off my bank, both which I have an excellent reputation with and was extremely miffed at these offers to say the least! I couldn't be happier with Zopa, just over 24hr decision, one quick phonecall off an extremely helpful & friendly man and within 5 hours the money was straight into my bank account...when I first went on to Zopa's site I thought the whole thing sounded too good to be true but it actually IS that good! I could not be happier with the service and rate I have been given and if I ever need a loan again I won't waste my time with any other company!

This is a great Loaning add borrowing service. I have used Zopa for both and I have been very sattisfied beyond measure.

I have recently completed a loan agreement with zopa. At 1st i was a bit sceptical when i simply googled for a loan deal and zopa came top of the list for lenders. I checked as many reviews by media and customers and the reviews were favourable, so i applied. All i can really say is what an efficiant company they are ! I applied on day 1 got a phone call within 24hrs from a very, again, efficiant loan arranger (if thats the right terminology ) who asked a few secuity questions and requested some personal paperwork to be faxed which i did on day 3. And if you like, hey presto, 2 hrs later approved. Amazing, as my old dad would say "i go to the foot of our stairs " But i would add as one reviewer said " they dont give money willy nilly " my credit rating is in good health, which would of assisted my application. Excellent service and very professional process of application, quick telephone call to answer a few qustions and a decision within the hour!! Brilliant idea of by passing the banks and having person to person transanctions, knowing your not handing your money over to the banks!! Loan to pay off my overdraft which they would they not consider reducing the charges, £45 a month for £2k...say no more! So many thanks to Zopa and your lenders!

After discovering Zopa and making my application I was approved just a couple of hours after submitting my paperwork. Wanted a loan to consolidate some debts into one bill and looked into Zopa instead of feeding the pockets of greedy banks!!! Looking for a loan for another car and knowing I have a good track record for repayment was absolutely disgusted with my previous loan provider when they offered me one with an increased APR of 3.5%!! Why should you be loyal to companys like this. ZOPA were a pleasure to deal with and with a website that was simple to use I achieved all my requirements in less than 24 hours. Great service, in a time when the banks are holding onto their assets and paying nothing to look after your hard earned money, along comes a wonderful idea to lend money and for savers to get an higher interest than the high street. The application for the loan when through without a hitch, applied on line, answered a few questions, supplied info and that was it - banks had better be worried.

Amazing service. I am an existing Zopa customer and was looking to consolidate my current Zopa loan and a small amount of additional debt. The process was incredibly swift. I was phoned to confirm the details very quickly. The questions were straightforward - no asking me my mother's dog's inside leg measurement to confirm my identity. Common sense approach: no sending me the money only for me to then send it back, they settled my previous debt (which was at a higher % APR, one of the reasons for me reconsolidsting) and then sent me the remainder. Top quality service, both this time and the first time I applied. One of the best rates on the market too. There are no reasons not to go with Zopa. Thank you :)

After being messed around by M&S Money, (the interest rate jumped from 6.0% online to 9% when the paperwork arrived) I tried Zopa. What a great service which was very fast, efficient and friendly. Also the interest rate advertised didn’t change when the loan was approved. The system is a great concept and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loan.

Invested £500 and lost £120 to bad debt. No accountability, no correspondence nor any communication. 0 star for this site from me. Not a wise investment if you invest here. Do not invest more than £100 if you are investing just for fun (Consider it as an expensive fun because you wont get it all back, money lost by you is gained by defaulted borrowers and Zopa). Borrowers might rate it 5 stars but for investors, it is 0 star.

What a fantastic loan provider. I have only recently found out about ZOPA in a comparison of loans and due to the great rate and unique provision, chose to take out their loan. The customer service that they provide is second to none. I feel well informed of everything that is happening and receive regular emails from them. I telephoned the company during my application and was met with courtesy and excellent service. The friendliness of the emails/newsletters makes me feel that I am supported by the company. It is such an amazing service that I would like to become a lender when I have some surplus savings.

Excellent service, great that you can log onto your own account to see your payment history and outstanding balance, you can even repay more at any time if you want to. A simply genius concept, for that very reason.......ITS SIMPLE.

An absolute breath of fresh air. I can honestly say I have never experienced such a smooth, efficient and friendly customer experience as I just had with Zopa. Loan approved and cash in bank in a matter of days without the drudgery of long drawn out forms or telephone calls. Arround 18 months ago I tried out Zopa by investing £2,000 this being a sum I could afford to lose if all went belly up. Since then my confidence in Zopa has increased month by month and I have increased my exposure. Now I have £25,000 invested which is loaned out to more than 2000 borrowers. In the 18 months I have only had one bad debt (£30) and currently there are 2 late payers (again around £30 between them). I earn on average around 7.5% pa on my money. I cant think of anything bad to say about Zopa. It does exactly what it says on the tin and offers me a rate of return that no bank could match.

This has got to be the future, great rate, decision in less than a day, no hidden charges, friendly staff and the best thing is that there's no gready banks involved, can't be bad!!

Just so simple - so unlike the rest of the Finance provider network! Both the website and human interaction was a pleasure - never thought I'd say that about borrowing money! I do have one suggestion: Both of your emails to me went to my junk mail - why not text customers to notify them that an email has been sent? I'll certainly be recommending your service - thank you There's a long way to go to restore peoples faith in Bankers but you've made a Bl**dy good start!

The easiest way I've ever borrowed money. A no-nonsense approach allowing the borrower to pay back more when able, at no extra cost. Simply brilliant!

I had never heard of Zopa before but it came out as best loan provider in a search so thought I would have a look and I am so glad I did. I found the application very straightforward and got a call the next day from an underwriter, I think his name was Hans who was really nice to speak to. I never felt like I was being judged as I have in the past when dealing with large banks which was good! He then sent me an e-mail which I replied to enclosing the necessary information and I received another e-mail telling me I was accepted within an hour. The money was then in my account within 2 days. Overall I am very impressed with the service and it is so nice to know I am not paying silly amounts of interest to a large faceless company but giving a little back to real people who are willing to take a small risk though I promise I won't ever miss a payment! I would just like to say Thank You to all involved in this process and I will be recommending you to anyone who will listen.

To be honest I hadn't even heard of your site, it was my wife who did the searching, she was trying to find the best possible loan for my car purchase and she did, better get her some flowers now. First class service and very, very fast. So glad to get away from banks, credit card companies etc. Give these people your custom, they are human and really know what they are talking about. I would not hesitate to recommend these people. If they don't give you a loan, take it as good advice that you shouldn't have one. If they do offer you a loan, grab it with both hands because their deals literally wipe the floor with anything ANY bank is offering.

I applied for a loan on Wednesday evening after falling in love with a car and rather than take out finance through the garage I thought I would use a comparison site to compare costs and I'm so glad I did. As many have stated I was sceptical initially as I had not heard of Zopa. I was called on Thursday and asked to send some information which I subsequently did. I spoke to a lady called Lyn who was polite and helpful and it was reasuring they were asking for information to confirm my identity. Soon after receiving this information the money was paid into my account which I am very impressed with, especially as it's a couple of days before Christmas! I think it's fantastic that over payments can be made easily and therefore, the loan can be paid off sooner. I can now have my new car before Christmas..thanks!! (Just have to break the news to my other half earlier than I invisaged.)

Outstanding service!!! I applied for a loan to consolodate existing debt. I hadn't long finished applying when I received a call from one of their friendly advisors (I didnt catch her name) to check a few details and to ask me to send in a recent payslip, bank statement etc. I quickly scanned & sent these in, and within 10 minutes of this, my application had been accepted. The whole process from start to finish took less than an hour. THIS is what lending should be like!!! To be honest, I was a bit sceptical at the start, as I hadn't heard too much about Zopa, but as they were top of the list in one of the comparison websites, I thought that they deserved a visit...I'm glad that I did. I would never have thought that applying for a loan online could be as effortless, user friendly, and painless as it was just now. Zopa...keep doing what it is that you're doing...it works. I liked the credit checking proccess and the way it was done, it was reasuring that the loan was not given out wiily nilly!!! The staff were friendly and helpful, the whole proccess made me feel comfortable and reassured that I could afford the loan. It was better than the bank on line lending and a better rate of interest. All in all I would recomend Zopa to any one wanting to borrow money.
