Tue Jul 15 2008Actually pretty funny. The main character is way too much of a dweeb to survive in the real world. Otherwise good show, good writing.

Tue Mar 21 2006I LOVE YES DEAR!!!!!! THIS IS THE BEST SHOW ON TV. IT IS SO FUNNY. I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING EVERY TIME I SEE THE SHOW. THE CAST IS GREAT. I PRAY THAT THEY DO NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW, THE ONLY SHOW ON TV WORTH WATCHING. IT IS CLEAN FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.

Sun Feb 05 2006One of my favorite sitcoms. Makes me laugh every time I watch it. Greg is such a dork but hes great to watch. Both families are really different and funny in different ways. One of my favorites is when they go to the Grand Canyon....sort of. :)

Tue Sep 13 2005This show is hilarious! Most people that give it a bad rating have only seen one episode or parts of others. Who ever says it's not funny does not know what their talking about.

Tue Aug 02 2005It's funny!! It's got great messages!! It shows how we all balance out together!! All your neighbors, frineds and co-workers are going through the same things (episodes) with the same steriotypes of humankind! Misery loves company; especailly if you can laugh a little at yourself (or someone you know)!!

Sun Feb 20 2005Doesn't deserve to be THIS low, especially with some of the shows in front of it.

Wed Feb 16 2005This the worst sort of show...bland, hackneyed, uncreative, full of really ridiculous situations, rotten with tired old gender stereotypes...BAD. The characters are dishonest, sarcastic, unkind, and irritating beyond belief...if those characters represent mainstream America then God help us. This show could only appeal to the most undiscerning of viewers.

Fri Jun 04 2004Putrid. Horrifyingly bad. Awful writing and direction, and the cast is just inept. Mike O'Malley should be banned from television as an instrument of torture. And Anthony Clark is about as funny as hemorrhoids. Just plain bad.

Tue Nov 25 2003The show isn't too bad. I just wish they would get those freeloading low-class inlaws out of their house ASAP, then maybe the show might be better.

Mon Jun 30 2003OMG ! If I wanted to listen to a bunch of brat children and their even more immature parents bickering, whining and fighting, I would go to my cousins house or something. This show is just ridiculous. NOT FUNNY, and almost makes you want to cry at the depression of it all. And what is with the freeloaders? Throw their mooching asses out the door...good grief !

Tue Nov 12 2002When this show first came on, I thought it was really going to suck. I convinced myself that I was NEVER going to watch it. I was also convinved this this show was going to fail, as all four cast members have had shows that failed. Well, one night I decided to watch it and guess what? I LOVED it! I have been watching ever since. I hope it stays on for at least a few more seasons.

Fri Oct 25 2002This show has really surprised me...yes it is sandwiched between two other good shows....but its worth the watch. Its actually very funny most of the time. I just love Liza Snyder!!!

Wed Aug 21 2002I've gotten a couple of laughs out of this show but still feel it remains one of the lamest offerings on network TV. It's like a conglomeration of several other sitcoms - a diluted cross between Raymond, Friends, and Dave's World. Even the set seems to answer the question, "What happens to old props once a sitcom goes under?" I gave it a chance a couple times but have come to think of it as a reason to turn to cable while waiting for "Everybody Loves Raymond" - or almost anything else they decide to sandwich it between - to come on. Substandard television at best.

Tue Jul 30 2002This is a show the whole family can watch, most of the humor is good.Sometimes the different parenting skills of the two family is down right funny.

Fri Jun 14 2002I have to give this show a three just because Anthony Clark is the strar of it. Its a funny show but it certainly isn't the funniest show on television. Since it is a fairly new show they still have many seasons to improve. However Anthony Clark is a wonderful comedian, especially at stand-up. I love he's rutine about going blind by getting citrus in your eyes. He truly is hilarious.

Mon Mar 25 2002It is a nice, clean, decent show. One of the few modern shows that I can say that about. Another hit for CBS for me.

Mon Mar 25 2002I don't think it's really that great a show, but I don't think it's as bad as the critics make it out to be either. It does have some really funny moments and at least it's not another show about a group of whiny, shallow, annoying people groaning about their boring, pathetic sex lives.

Sun Feb 24 2002I agree with Starlet. Yes, Dear is not a funny show. The jokes and plot are very stale. The characters are very one-dimensional. And the only reason why Yes Dear is still there is because of the King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond. It is between these two funny shows.

Sun Jan 06 2002I like this show. Some people say it is utter fluff but i think that it is funny fluff. I love it because it stars my fav comedian, Anthony Clark. it is cool, but i guess i could live without it

Sun Oct 21 2001This is the best show on CBS this season!!!

Thu Apr 05 2001Every sitcom Anthony Clark appears in is doomed for failure. Robin Williams, he is not. He is totally unconvincing playing a husband and a father. His lines are spoken in a forced, anal-retentive manner. The rest of the ensemble do the best they can with the lackluster scripts and preposterous storylines. Do not waste your time watching this crap....
