Not so uncommon anymore, at least not in the states. It's not a bad name, but it does make me think of ''Why it'

When he's a little older the little tyke can get together with his brothers Virgil and Morgan and their buddy Doc, and go kick the shit out of the McLowery and Clanton boys down the street.

I love this name for a boy. I can't remember where I heard it, but I remember liking it.

I like this name. Its different, strong sounding and all boy.

Cute name. I can see that as a little boy or an old person. This coming generation wont remember Mr. Erp anyway :P

Great manly sounding name. Makes me think of the old west.

Doesn't sound wrong or anything; I just don't see any good reason to name anyone that.

"Son of the forest guide"? I suppose that a good job for someone named Wyatt would be park ranger?

My baby cousin's name after I suggested to my pregnant cousin that this was a cute name. I didn't know the meaning to it previously; it apparently is of French origin and means, "son of the forest guide".
