I too have worked for this company and everything said on other posts is true. They lie and don't care about any of their candidates one bit. They try and get you in by telling you they have a great job for you when in fact the most likely won't even send you on an interview. The management treat their employees terribly. There is a reason they usually only hire kids right out of college, it is because they do things in such a terrible way they want to brainwash you into thinking this is the way a typical work day is like in other companies. This place also defines the saying "bait and switch." During the interview they told me the job is a 9-5 gig when in fact people don't leave until much later and you have to be in at 8 for "meetings" that you don't get paid for! All this being said, I have never been treated with such disrespect before in the workplace. I am not going to mention names but there are certain people in the OC office that really need a good reality check. Avoid thei... Read more

I happened to use Workbridge Associates in my job search and I all I can say that mmgood is absolutely right. The place stinks like rotten meat. From the very beginning of the process you start to feel that you're being manipulated. During every conversation recruiters call you and try to get every bit of information about your job search with questions like: "What other companies have you had interviews with?", "Can you tell the names of the persons you've been intervied by?" and so on... - this is way more than a recruiting company is supposed to know. Then the day before I had you even have a final interview with the eployer they tell you something like "they will only give you an offer if you are ready to stop your job take this position". Taking an offer before receiving one??? You're kidding me!! So I eventually told them that I'm not going to put the cart before the horse and I'll stop my job search only after I receive a concrete offer which matches my expectations. Then t... Read more

I rated a 2 because I just don't know. I interviewed through the NYC WorkBridge Associates office. It seemed like a lot of the companies were either not serious on hiring or so over demanding that they knew they didn't want to hire, except one company who seemed serious. Perhaps the economy is making companies go insane. If I was already scaling a web startup to 100k+ users/month, why would I even be applying for a position? I would be making money on my own, a lot of money. And half the companies seemed to have a problem with me already working on the side for another startup which I found very weird. They also had a problem that I worked in too many different areas which is what an entrepreneurial person does. They said I didn't own a project from start to finish. Well I run a group of e-commerce websites that provides my living. So that is wrong. I guess they just want a master of one discipline which is fine. However, that says corporate to me, not startup. I will keep pursuing my ... Read more

I worked for this company and I can personnally tell you this is one of the most unethical and corrupt companies anyone could work for. Their entire business model is designed around lying and withholding information from clients and candidates. I have personally witnessed people get an offer from clients to give to a candidate and then watched as the management would tell a recruiter not to extend the offer for any reason because the candidate was "difficult." They would also tell candidates to give all of their information about their job search and how they "ask because we want to help." They then take that information and call the managers directly and bash the candidate that interviewed there in hoping that they can fill the role. I left the company eventually because I felt like a scumbag or slimeball everyday when I left work. Good news about this company is they are folding and folding fast. It isn't surprising when you see that not a single member of the uppper manage... Read more
