Sat Jan 03 2009i've been using a prostaff 6.6 for many years now, and it's getting old. i'm currently scouring the market for a new racquet, and am having trouble finding one. i love the precision that this racquet gives me in my shots, and i now have trouble adjusting to the style of the newer racquets. any ideas as to where to go from here?

Sat Apr 01 2006Arguable the best series with a wide range of rackets for all levels of players. ProStaff has a long tradition. For those of you who are old enough to remember, the wooden Jack Kramer model was the best of its kind.

Fri Nov 01 2002I use a Wilson Pro Staff Titanium 6.6 and I love it. I had been using a Dunlop Max 200G, but the power I got from the Wilson on my serve was incredible. It's a little harder to control on my second serve, but I'm getting used to it. My returns have been greatly helped too. When I reach to meet an opponent's serve the racket doesn't wobble nearly as much on my return. I don't have to put nearly as much swing on it either, and that helps throw more balls back in play. I highly recommend the Wilson.

Mon Jan 08 2001Very comfortable grip. Big head helps beginners with tennis. Long lasting. Color of racket good. Very light.

Mon Jan 08 2001I personally like this racket because of it's precision and power. When used with the correct timing and power, this set of rackets is good for the power player.

Mon Dec 04 2000I used this racket all throughout high school and part of college. Through vigorous use (approx. 3 hours a day) it stayed sturdy and reliable. It was light weight and had attractive coloring. My only dissatisfaction with this product was the grip tape that kept falling apart.

Tue Oct 31 2000The Wilson line is pretty good. The pro-staff series requires the player to generate their own power, but when there is enough strength, the control ability of the raquet is unquestionable. Heavey hitters will do well with this raquet since it's light and controllable.

Wed Oct 11 2000This is the best racket for the person that plays for a great workout but not everyday of their lives. It is a little pricer than some beginning rackets but well worth it.

Tue Oct 10 2000I've played with the Pro Staff for 2 years now and I'm satisfied with the results. It gives me good power and decent control, but it's not great at the net. I recommend the Stretch model for more power.

Wed Oct 04 2000Excellent tennis rackets, especially the Pro Staff 6.1. Very sturdy, can conform to all skill levels. Definitely recommendable.

Wed Aug 16 2000I demoed many rackets and this was the only one for me. I love the stiffness because I like to swing hard and place the ball at the same time.

Wed Aug 09 2000The Wilson Pro Staff Lite is my racket of choice. I like the lightweight, and the feel has just enough pop without too much vibration. I especially like the long rackets which gives short people like me an advantage in serves and net plays.

Fri Jun 23 2000Very comfortable grip that is very soft and allows for great control. Not too much power coming from the strings. Great for a top spin hitting player.

Fri Jun 23 2000The Pro Staff that I have is really light, but seems very stiff. Hitting the ball, I can feel every vibration, which sometimes hurts my forearm. Adding a shock absorber helped, but not much.

Thu Jun 22 2000Great racket for advanced players who need less power and more control. Great feel for the ball and weighted racket.

Thu Jun 08 2000The feel of the racket when hitting the ball is very smooth. The racket itself is stiff, but when hitting the ball, you can actually feel the racket absorb and release the power on the ground strokes. Also, this helps for the volleys. Wilson Pro Staff helps in hitting the ball harder, and since the racket is made out of graphite, it is very sturdy.

Mon Jun 05 2000This is a great pre-strung racket. The large sweet spot and light frame design make for a strong, accurate swing. Also the price is right for the begininning to intermediate player.

Tue May 16 2000The Wilson Pro Staff is a very shock absorbing, sturdy, light racket. The head is very big but the speed and power you will receive from it is wonderful. Restringing is fast and easy if experienced in restringing rackets. They are expensive but that is the only drawback.
