Sat Feb 05 2011If you're gonna Drink a wheat beer then this is the Beer to drink. This beer is unfiltered so you 're getting some good quality, pure Brew. Try it with a bit of Lemon for an extra citrus kick.

Sun Jun 21 2009Usually served with a slice of lemon for bouquet, this is a solid unfiltered wheat beer. Personally, I am not the hugest fan of hefeweizens. However, I have to admit that this is a pretty solid attempt--especially coming from an American brewery. Go Portland, Oregon!

Tue Jun 09 2009I love a tasty Hefeweizen and this one doesn't disappoint. It's smooth and goes down easy. Maybe a little too smooth and easy some nights! It's another one of my favorite beers to drink outside on a sunny day!

Wed May 06 2009Pours cloudy pale amber with a good sized white head. Plentiful lacings. One of the most popular wheat beers ever. Great introduction to wheat beers and an easy drinker. Generally excellent value and very consistant. Try to find a fairly fresh example. Nice beer.

Thu Feb 12 2009A magnificent Hefewiezen, with a lot of subtlety and an intriguing finish. Unlike some breweries, Widmer makes it unfiltered, which greatly improves this style of beer.

Fri Mar 14 2008I'm not a Hefeweizen fan at all. I've tried Widmer, and it did nothing for me.

Mon Dec 17 2007This is a good beer but I don't care for the taste of the hefeweizens so I don't drink it.

Mon Dec 17 2007The cloudy-wheat beer thing works for some people, but not for me. . .

Thu Nov 15 2007Wheat beer may appeal to some, but it's not my cup of tea.

Wed Nov 14 2007I credit this beer with sparking my interest in wheat beer. Great, crisp taste that provides a nice change of pace, especially if you're used to drinking nothing but lagers.

Wed Nov 14 2007Would say the best wheat beer available in the domestic market, but could be better...

Wed Nov 14 2007It's not as good as Hoegaarden or Great White, but it'll do in a pinch.

Tue May 15 2007I'm surprised how low the rating is for this beer. I think it's a great beer. No way Pacifico is better than a Hef, give me a break

Sat Oct 15 2005The best Hefeweizen I've ever had, even better than the German Paulaner's, and that is saying something. Having this with a lemon wedge is a must.

Fri Jul 22 2005The tastiest brew in the land. There's a few things I crave in this country, Widmer & In-N-Out Burger. RoseMD, You can.

Fri Aug 15 2003The best mass-marketed wheat beer I've found. Fairly close in taste to the "real" hefeweizen that's brewed in southern Germany. Nice and cloudy, good character. Try it with a lemon wedge. I'd bathe in it if I could afford to. Mmmmmm.
