Loreal Paris drugstore brand is so much better for your hair than White Rain. White Rain contains either ammonium lauryl sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate. These sulfates are extremely cheap and very bad/drying to your hair. They are actually floor cleaner!!!!!! and who wants to put that on your head?! They strip all of the moisture in your hair and is also not good for your scalp! Sodium laureth sulfate is fine to use though. it is much gentler to your hair and scalp. this is why most professional shampoos only contain this sulfate. BUT still sulfate-free shampoos are the very best! Just watch they are becoming very popular now. Bed head, Rusk, Loreal Paris, Organix, and many others are now making sulfate- free shampoos. They can be used on any hair type, but work best on dry and colored hair.

This is complete junk. It gives me the sensation of shampooing the hair with pancake syrup. I'll take Suave any day!

I use White Rain Extra Body Shampoo. It's pretty good! It leaves a nice light scent which I personally like. I doesn't lather up very well so I went through it pretty fast, but it was at a good price so it wasn't at a loss.

This was the one we used most growing up. It was cheap but got the job done. My only real complaint was the tendency to dry your hair out if you washed it too often. It's still not a bad shampoo to use to strip the styling product build up out of your hair from time to time.

When I was a kid, I loved some of the scents of White Rain. However, I remembered using mass quantities of it and still not having a clean head of hair. It's a budget brand, but it does not go a long way. You're better off using Herbal Essences or Suave for similar fragrances.

i use the extra body shampoo and i love it. i have used all kinds of expensive brands, yet this one ranks right up there at the top. it cleans without leaving your hair dry, and it gives body. my hair is fine but color treated and it works great.

Ok, usually at a very good price, plus they offer more per bottle as a bonus.

I would say that the Daily Clarifying shampoo is the best - I use it once a week to remove product buildup and my hair feels totally clean afterwards. The fruity shampoos also smell really great.

I love this shampoo, it's the best ever. I've been using for many years and I just love it. I have tried alot of other shampoos and nothing else works as well as white rain for me! Their conditioner is also wonderful and really does take the tangles and snarls out really well. I can't believe that other people don't like this shampoo. The price is fantastic and the shampoos and conditioners work so well that I think that everybody should at least try it once for themselves.

just like with V05 products. you're better off saving money some where else other than hair care products. all you'll do is kill your hair in the end.

THIS STUFF SUCKS!!! Complete garbadge!! At cheap hotels like super 8 they give this, and when I use it, my hair feels so dry and rough. After the shower, my tangles are even bigger and my hair feels oily and not soft AT ALL all day! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!

The only thing good about this shampoo is it smells good(apple)When my mom was on one of her cheap binges I used her white rain and boy did I regret it. The next day when I went to school my hair was limp and lifeless not to mention dry.I use the moderate priced shampoos and boy are they way better,Suave which I hate is better than this cheap dollar stoor stuff,my hair to mention is long and silkysoft and shiny.BUT THIS STUFF SHOULD BE PUT OF THE MARKET,I RECOMMEND NO 1 USE IT!!!

I tried out white rain holding mousse.. I put the mousse in my hair and not only did it hold my hair style. it held a bunch of lint and dandruff... I felt so dirty after putting this stuff in my hair... for $1 what can you expect.. I am sorry, but I cannot reccommend this product to anyone.

Real rain makes my hair feel softer than this atrocity that dares call itself a shampoo....

I like the coconut scent. However, as an image class graduate, I know the best way to get good hair is to buy the more professional high priced stuff. It may sound strange, but stuff you get at the grocery store isn't always the best. Also, never buy a shampoo for the smell!!! =)

White Rain shampoo is not a good product if your hair is oily. I can see this being an average shampoo. If your hair is normally dry, then this shampoo will strip away all natural oils and leave your hair lifeless.

White Rain is definitely a budget product. I use their hairspray when I don't really care how my hair looks, usually in a ponytail. I will not ever use their shampoo or conditioner again; it made my hair feel like straw, where it usually feels like silk!

I love this shampoo. I've used the apple, strawberry and regular kind. The fruit ones are just perfect, not too strong smelling and they rinse clean. It's a very pleasant experience to use this shampoo.

Great product line. Fresh and clean is one thing but it also makes you smell good. I highly recommend the body wash, even for men!

This product is cheap and not worth the money. It makes my hair coarse. It also makes my hair unmanageable.

Inexpensive, yes! And in this case, you get what you pay for. Leaves build up on hair and therefore hair is unmanageble and heavy. At the same time, it dried out my hair..I do not recommend this product at all!

Inexpensive and does the trick. The "Apple Essence" one smells good.
