Not very healthy, of course, but comes in handy when a person is really in a hurry.

In moderation, it's okay. But then again, that can go for anything.

its handy when you just don't have the time or if your just one person eating. the quality depends in the individual place as for the healthfulness thats a whole other issue

I love fast food and I couldn't care less what all the DietNazi's have to say about it. Yes, you should eat well and not make it a habit but hell, give me a couple Whoppers with cheese fries and apple pies once in a while and Im damn happy!

I'm not too big on fast food. Not to say I don't eat it. I love In N Out Hameburgers, and I also eat at Subway from time to time, and there's a couple of good Mexican fast food joints that I go to. But when we go out, I usually prefer a good sit down restaurant. I like to take my time and relax and eat a good meal.

Tastes like poo and bad for you. Fast-Food Chains may be cheap, but If I'm in a hurry and low on funds I can always find a nice, family owned pizza joint and have a slice or two for the same price as the garbage served at Burger Burp.

Mere coarse belly fodder, adequate if you need to fill a hole on the run, but by no means good for anything else. One of the most insidious ideas that has been sold on the civilized world is that this slop is a meal.

usually they get it wrong and most of the time it's cold. some of it can be done right. i think Wendy's has fast food down pat, variety and decently quick service.

Fast food is terrible. Long ago, I took an intensive weight training course and ate fast food. And it bloated me up to 190 lbs. I had multiple stretch marks and suffered a chemical brain imbalance because of fast food. So what I'm saying is that fast food isn't edible for me at all. Since I quit fast food in 2000, I'm down to my current weight of 144 lbs. and I feel great.

Tastes good, but you can't eat it a lot without fear of diabetes and heart attacks. Also, If it is eaten in large quantities or everyday, It is downright deadly for anyone.

Most of it is just processed crap - especially from the big chains such as Mcdonalds and KFC etc..... I tend to cook my own food or get some proper food from the supermarket that won't take long to cook.

As most of us are aware of fast food is not good nutritious food. I admit we eat it on occasion. My teeagers love it and would eat it more often if we let them. believe as you grow older that kind of food puts on the weight and it don't settle as well in the tummy either. fast food will always be around since it is convenient in our hurry up world.

Of course I think fast food is awesome, but I also know it is bad, bad, BAD ! But my favorites would be TACO JOHN'S, TACO BELL, TACO TIME, McDonald's, and even BK.....gotta have my crunchy tacos at least once a week.....and of course DAIRY QUEEN-BRAZIER is a classic fast food place that I absolutely love !

Absolutely the most disgusting indicator of the pathological decadence and convenience of this country. How can anyone criticize drugs, but consider this stuff conumable? Though it may not alter your conscious state it is far worse for you physically and addictive as well. The flavors in fast food are created in chemical plants on the Jersey Turnpike; that alone is repulsive. The efforts to attract children and make them brand loyal reflect the total lack of ethics and concern that this industry has towards the people of this nation and the world. They also play to the weak minded and the poor. Just look at ClassicTVFan's amazement that food can come in a box or a container of some kind. This is seriously disgusting and I don't consider these chain retaurants (Tgi Friday's, Ruby Tuesday's, etc) to be that much better. You should enjoy every aspect of your life, including food. It should not be reduced to merely shoving a greasy whopper down your gullet because it can be done with the u... Read more

I get sick everytime I eat this stuff for several days in a row. The food is fatty and low quality. If you eat this stuff on a regular basis, you will probably be more vulnerable to heart disease and diabetes. However, the fast food industry is making significant efforts to improve the quality of their menus by adding healthier foods like salads and non-burger items. And anyways fast food is many times very convienient. Many times I don't have the time to sit down to a long meal; this may be the only option for food available.

Fast food is not that great. I will grab a sandwich somewhere when I am in a hurry, but otherwise I avoid fast food. If I have to eat fast food, I usually eat at Subway, because they have sandwiches that are low-cal and I can eat there without feeling guilty. Yet otherwise, fast food just tastes too bland and mass-produced. I feel I am better off just making my own sandwich;it will taste better and I'll save a few dollars too.

I have a bit of a problem with ClassicTVFan railing about how evil a single beer is all while touting this slop. And yes, most fast food is simply slop. On a primitive level it tastes good because humans have evolved to favor foods that are fatty and salty since they were often the most calorie dense and good for survival. However, humans also need fiber and other vital nutrients missing in fast food. If ClassicTVFan could pry himself away from his game cube long enough I'd encourage him to read Eric Schlosser's book Fast Food Nation. For someone who is frighteningly obsessed with all things cheery and upbeat this might be a real eye opener. Fast food has contributed to a massive decline in Americans' health. The stuff is nasty pure and simple and anyone who eats a lot of it long enough WILL end up with coronary heart disease, Type II diabetes or high cholesterol no matter how skinny they may be now. Not to mention the sick conditions the food is made under. I worked at Taco B... Read more

Overly tasty and a boon for those who can't be bothered to cook. However it is partly responsible for turning my chiselled, ripped, Athenian demi-god style abs into a fairly portly gut.

I haven't eaten any for almost three years. I'd eat fast food if the production standards were higher, if it were healthier, and if it tasted better. Start eating well and you can't ever go back. I know too much about what is in the stuff.

Perhaps I just haven't eaten the right home-cooked food or sampled the hidden gems of the slow-food (sit-down) industry, but I love fast food! It's tasty, well-priced and just plain cool. Of course, some of the fast food restaurants are better than others (McDonald's is slighty-above-average, whereas Chick-Fil-A is a truly transcendent dining experience). Some fast food franchises have great commercials (Chick-Fil-A's 'Eat Mor Chikin!'), while some have terrible (words can't convey the hate I express to McDonald's 'I'm Lovin' It' campaign). And, there's just something nifty about getting something in a box or in a container. Plus, drive-thrus are save lots of time! Also, the insides of these restaurants are typically brighter and much more upbeat than the dark and dulls of a slow-food place such as Ruby Tuesday. Go out! Cross the Border! Have your break today! Have it your way! And, for goodness sake's, EAT MORE CHICKEN!
