Mon Jun 20 2005Any place where you can go and relax, and do only the things that you want to do. Where you don't have to get up early and go rushing off to be there on time. Anywhere where things just seem to take care of themselves, and let you get on with enjoying other things. A cruise, I think, would make a perfect vacation.

Mon Apr 25 2005Well I like anything that enables you to slow down, do something that you don't ordinarily do every day, eat different foods, simplify things a bit, can be a condo off of a beach that has lots of cool things to do, or camping out in the woods with nothing but some canned foods to back you up in case you don't catch any fish or shoot a deer or something. Cool to be able to see if you can live off of the land for a week or 2. Hard to do with little ones, but mine are grown and they love doing this. Especially fun to do with another family that also enjoys this. Hang around a campfire, etc.

Tue Mar 08 2005I really don't know. As long as I'm with my wife and we are happy then anywhere to get away sounds nice. I enjoy the mountains and the ocean. I enjoy the city and the country. I'm really not too picky as long as its relaxing.

Wed Mar 02 2005To be honest I don't really like the tropical places, even though the closest to tropical I've ever been was Destin, FL. I would enjoy going to London or someplace in Europe. Hopefully next year I will get to go to Germany.

Wed Mar 02 2005At a place such as the Bahamas or Cancun, with the love of my life. We would wake up every morning with a 10 mile run along the beach and just live the easy life.

Tue Mar 01 2005My idea of a perfect vacation would have to be outdoors, near a lake or river filled with trout. Lots of trees and solitude. No phones, no radio or TV, and no hotel room, with lots of time and no hurrying. There's a time and a place for a hotel, I suppose, but there's no room for it in my fantasy. I enjoy my solitude, and really enjoy it when I can Vacate. UPDATE: I thought about this a little more. The perfect vacation for me, would be a fly-in fishing trip somewhere in the Canadian wilderness. No roads in. What could be better.

Tue Dec 07 2004Europe! Italy, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, Spaid, Holland, Belgium . . . okay, breath. I wouldn't mind living in any of those places, either. The history, the language, the culture -- they're all extremely interesting and beautiful to me.

Sat Aug 28 2004It doesn't have to be somewhere exotic just somewhere peaceful with no incoming phone calls.

Fri Jul 23 2004Two weeks in a remote tropical environment with my wife. We will have enough money to not worry about how much we spend. At this point in my life, I would probably bring my kids!

Mon Jun 28 2004This is the married guy's idea of a good vacation. Kind of experienced this type of vacation last year on a business trip to St. Pete's Beach, FL (as well as a few other times). First off, NO family (family vacations are not really vacations). After my business (which I made sure ended early), I would either ocean kayak or take a jog on the beach. From there, walk to one of those bars right on the beach where I could drink some beers, enjoy a cigarette or two, and BS with a few people (maybe even flirt a tad with the nice looking lady bartender --but never anything that will go beyond that). Finish it off with a good dinner and a nice walk on the beach. Go back to the hotel room, crank up the A/C and watch ESPN till I nod off.

Sat Jun 05 2004My idea of a perfect vacation would be at an amusement park or somewhere where you can cool off. A good vacation also must be somewhere fun and relaxing.

Fri Apr 09 2004A nice trip to Coyacoan, Mexico. Plenty of sun, good shops, and the coolest Art museum in the world.

Sat Apr 03 2004It would have to be with some of my favorite family members and friends. It would also be travel mainly interstate-based--because I love those road signs and ramps! Stops would either be at high-class fast food restaurants like Chick-Fil-A or even a slow food gem like Friendly's. The Hotel room better have The Weather Channel and a TV station that shows Trek! And, cool places would be nice to go to as well!

Sun Jan 25 2004Do not get me wrong, I love Orlando, but I think any type of small town vacation would be great at least once a year to get the heck out of Orlando and all of its atrocious traffic and crime. By small town vacation, I mean go to like Wyoming to a small town..and spend a week there with the quietness and visit family and friends...that would be perfect...

Sat Jan 24 2004I tend to go off by myself into the wilderness and climb mountains, just me, compass, food and water and topo maps. I spend so much time with lots of people that I need to be a misanthrope for a few days to a week. I come back feeling strong and refreshed.

Fri Jan 16 2004Going to LA, so I can go to the Pirates of THe Caribean 2 premier in 2005. I can somehow magicly meet Orlando Bloom and he'll fall madly in love with me, I age magicly about 10 years and he'll stay the same age. He'll magicly break up with Kate Bosworth and go out with me. Wait, this is more like a dream...never mind!
