Westend Hair Co & Day Spa

I went to Westend for the first time this past week and I just loved it! The front desk is warm and welcoming, and the stylist actually listened to what I wanted. I have had several bad experiences elsewhere in town, but I have finally found my place. If you are looking for a new place, I highly recommend Westend!

I visited West End for the 2nd time to get more highlights with Lucia. She misunderstood me by thinking I wanted to go from brown to completely blonde so instead of adding highlights, she put an all-over enlightener (bleach) on my entire head making my previous highlights bluish-grey and the remaining brown hair color turned a VERY brassy orange. It was copper in color and very ugly. She kept trying to convince me that my hair would have broken off by putting highlights so instead she enlightened my entire head with BLEACH! Now my previous highlights were even more damaged along with the rest of my hair. I was embarrassed to wear my hair down so I wore a ponytail for the day. It was not exactly a $100 hair color!! The following day, I went back to her hoping she could fix the orange color by adding low-lights. She argued with me for 30 minutes making me very angry by refusing to make me happy. All in all, I like the haircuts, manicures, and such I leave with. But much more often than not, the front desk receptionist adds on services I didn't ask for. I ask for color only to arrive and find out she has scheduled me for cut and color. I ask for basic mini manicure, she schedules me for the higher priced manicure. I ask for a 30 minute massage, she schedules me for a longer one. All this leads me to be always on my guard when I enter the salon, as I can in now way assume I will receive, and be charged for, the service I requested. In other words, I can't enter there, as lovely as the space and other staff are, feeling relaxed and trusting. Unfortunate.

I had a very bad first time experience with a hair dresser that did my cut the way they wanted too.I was very unhappy.I did decide to give the salon another chance and go with a different hair dresser.I was very satisfied & surprised and I plan to continue going there...but I will only see her.I do hate the parking lot, and it is very hard to get an appointment, I feel that they do hair when they want, or don't want to.Some of the staff do need a bit of an attitude adjustment or maybe they could try to smile at the customers! Have a nice day would be nice too.Especially when you pay a lot for your hair...

i went to west end to get my hair done for my graduation and i was very satisfied so i go there whenever i need my hair cut...the parking is pretty terrible and some of the stylists do have additude but the result is great there are just a few stylists that arent the best but i wont name any names...i also love to get my eye brows waxed here the lady who does it is great!!!

I went to this hair salon during the week and the stylist was 35 minuets late plus she gave me an additude and THIS WAS THE WORST HAIR CUT IVE EVER HAD I COULD HAVE GOT A BETTER ONE AT MASTER CUTS Big Dissapointment im never going back i give this salon 1 star
