Just like anyother game site,vpgames.com gives you a wide variety of game products to choose from. What i like about vpgames.com is their very user-friendly website that makes it simple for anybody even new to the site. The SSL security also makes me feel secure when purchasing goods. I don't really think i have any downsides for this site...

Scammers! They will gladly take your money, but they will not refund it back when the game is not in stock. They will charge your credit card before they mail out your order, even if the game is not even in stock. I called to see if my order had been mailed out. That's when they let me know that the game was not in stock. If you look on their webpage it says on every game detail page that there is low stock, less than 3 units are available. They never update their stock either. It has been over a week and a half and the game that I ordered still has the same message. They are total slimsters. It's borderline fraud how they're operating. I had to file a dispute through my credit card company in order to get my money back. Please, if you're thinking about ordering through these crooks DON"T DO IT!!!! In this era of instant communications and companies trying to excel in order to stay in business, VPGames fails to measure up to other online companies. While I'm out the cost of returning a defective product my experience still wasn't as bad as some of the others. The short version: Avoid VPGames like a plague. For anyone interested in the long version, here is the timeline for one simple transaction with VPGames: 12/31/2010: Ordered a replacement DVD drive for an original XBOX. 01/03/2011: Received an email notification that my order had been shipped. (So far, so good.) 01/07/2011: Sent VPGames an email that drive was defective and I had returned it. Their policy website strongly suggested purchasing delivery confirmation - which made it pretty clear they weren't too attentive to detail. I am extremely dissatisfied with VPGames. I purchased an xbox carrying case (12/19/10), and paid extra to ensure that it would arrive before Christmas Eve. I received a shipping confirmation email from them saying that it had shipped, but UPS only says that the "billing information was received," which means it truly was never shipped. They will not answer my emails, answer their phone, or reply to messages left on their answering machine. It is now 12/30, and the UPS status remains the same and we have yet to hear from VP Games. On their website, the item I purchased is now backordered, although it wasn't when I ordered it. Do NOT purchase from this website. They are unreliable, do not update their inventory, and the customer service is horrible (if not non-existent). Save yourself the headache.

Customer service is absolutely the worst online purchase experience I have had (and I do a significant amount of online purchasing). Response to my inquiry and follow up to that response has been horrible. Phone lines refused to be answered despite publishing a phone number, email requests (other than the initial email) are not responded to. If you order from this vendor, you better hope its exactly what you wanted the first time, because you will not get help if its not right.

NEVER order xbox controllers from these guys. they SAY they have them in stock, but do not.... you you get a notice saying:"just a friendly email to let y ou know that the items in your order will be arriving as separate shipments" This "friendly" email means, you will get your controllers about 1 month after you order. EVEN if you pay them $55 in overnight shipping. also, you cannot get a hold of them. they shouldn't have a phone number on their site. Worst ever. the good side, when you order anything BUT controllers from them, they mail out only 1 week after they should have.

i ordered a in stock wireless adapter for my xbox 360 and it has been 5 days with nothing being shipped. I called the number for support and only got an answering machine that I couldn't leave a message on. Then I email support twice asking when this will ship and although they state that you should get a response within 24 hours I never did. I just want to cancel the order and wish I would have paid the extra 5-10$ to get it elsewhere. They suck! Stay far away from this company probably ran out of someones basement.

I bought two modded intensifire controllers for 360 and when they came 1 of the 2 works great. The second well it is more like a 10 year old controller which has had its circuits fried. TWICE! So we sent it back and we had loads of problems with that. they apparently reshipped it twice and i never got it. SO after 2 months of waiting for it i call and email them and they send us a apparently (new) one. That one didn't work either. It didn't even have the xbox sticker for the middle button on it.... So were sending that one back too. This is the worst company ever.

I am an A+ and Network Certified Technician that works for pc.upgrades and ordered a PS3 LASERLENS + DE (Desk Assembly) for Sony Playstation 3 40GB. The item ordered was KES-400AAA and was purchased at $79.85. The item was sold on February 23, 2010 and my order number was 168357962. Since item was over seventy-five dollars I was supposed to get free shipping. That was the beginning of my problems. First item did not ship free (although cost is only $3.28) since it was advertised I expected to get it. The second problem was the item was described as new and in sealed package. Item was not sealed and upon inspection the deck assembly was not new. To be fair the laser itself could have been new. So I called the company using the numbers from their good looking website. Terrible service. I ordered a replacement laser for my ps3 and they told me it shipped on Monday and I didn't recieve it until Saturday yet when I needed to send it back because it didn't work I had to pay shipping again tp send it back. it was sent out on Monday and with delivery confirmation it said they recieved it on Wednesday so it only took two days to send it back but it took a week for delivery to my address. now It has been two weeks since I sent the laser back and they cant even give me any information on my new laser wether it is being sent or what they said it would take ten full business days just to process my return and I dont think that includes the week it takes for them to send you your fully paid for product. They do respond to my emails though it takes two days to do so. Long story short, I will never do business with vpgames.com again I'm not even sure they are going to send me another laser they may have just scammed me Im not really sure.

I ordered a RetroMini NES player from them and the first one arrived in a timely manner, but did not work. I e-mailed them and got an ok to send it back to be replaced. This was well over a month ago and I still have not received my replacement despite being giving two different invalid tracking numbers. Now all I get when trying to contact them are messaged that they have received my e-mail, but no actual human response. I would never recommend them to anyone because as far as I am concerned they have scammed me! Pay a lil extra and find a reputable dealer! Thanks for ruining my X-mas VPGames!!!

I purchased a light gun for my FC Twin on this site. This company shipped the item very fast, although it took a while to get here because of the value shipping option I used. But when it got here, I was extremely excited! Now I could take advantage of games like Duck Hunt and Bayou Billy! But, oh no, trouble... the cord on the light gun came frayed, causing a short! What's a 20-something video game geek to do? At first, I considered sitting and sulking... then I considered disassembling an old Super Nintendo controller to replace the wire, but then I came up with a solution... contact the company! And, so I did. And I got impatient. However, after two whole days of waiting, they replied to me, and they're sending me a replacement! How awesome is that? This company is great, and has what you need... but you have to be patient with them. Patience pays off.

terrible service i ordered a new disk drive for my xbox and assumed that it had all the firmware it needed to play video games. when i installed it i found out that it did not have the proper firmware to actually play video games. it said nowhere in the product discription that it did not include the firmware so i was mislead into buying something that is worthless to me. i would recomend buying from somewhere else where they will actually give you a truthful product info that tells you everything you need to know about it.

quick to take your payment but take thier sweet time to ship the item. my payment cleared but vp didnt ship the item untill 5 days later even though the item was in stock. when i tried to make contact with the company i got no reply. as i am writing this it has been 12 days since my payment cleared and i still dont have the item i bought or have i gooten any responce to any email i have sent them

VPGames is the only site I could find all of the accessories I wanted for my PSP 1000 in one site. The five items I ordered were exactly as described and delivery was also prompt and within the time frame for the delivery I chose. While on the site if also found a number of other items that I haven't seen available anywhere else and I am considering purchasing some of them because I know I will need them sometime in the future. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the materials used to make some of the items, like the camera was better than I expected. Metal instead of plastic. That's a nice difference. I ordered a Microsoft Xbox controller (a green one :D) from them a few weeks ago. I obtained the controller quickly after processing, though processing (even considering the weekend played a factor) took a few business days for them. There was no real shipping progress info posted for it, though I blame the folly on USPS for being lazy as usual about it. When I got the controller, I expected a Microsoft controller as they had advertised it. I came to criticize the authenticity of the device, as the Xbox logo sticker looked mocked-up, and had to be stuck onto the controller when I obtained it. The packaging had no Microsoft logos, and the controller had no part or other information. More importantly, there was no slip connector with the cable...just one solid (short) cable. I ordered a replacement for my PSP LCD screen a few weeks ago from VPGames. The site was easy to navigate and they had a great guide on how to do the replacement (which was fairly delicate). Good price, the order shipped extremely fast, and was in perfect condition when it arrived - very important when it comes to delicate electronics :)

I bought a Retro-Duo in blue and white and am very satisfied with my choice. It is AWESOME!! It has better gameplay and graphics than the origionals and has both standard video as well as S-video outputs. the system is in stereo and sounds great even on the older games. I feel that VP Games is very trustworthy and reliable and would recomend them to everyone looking for oldSkool games. I will be buying from them again and soon!

I found that for the part I was in need of VpGames had the lowest price, included shipping and I got exactly what I wanted as it was promised. I am very pleased and will no doubt seek VP for more products in the future, and I highly recomend them to everyone!

The used video game I purchased whcih was the special edition Halo 3 did not work. It was very obvious that VB games does not test used products they are selling. This was very problematic since I received the game one day before my son's birthday and thsi software was the big deal among he an his freinds to play with that night.

Ordered Wii to YGrBr (or whatever it is) cable for Wii console and rechargeable battery for Wii Fit Balance board. Shipping was immediate. Price was best I found. Products worked great. Shipping cost was a little high but price made up for it. Would definitely buy for VPGames again.

I had ordered the following item: XB360DVDDRIVE-PHILIPS Philips BENQ VAD 6038 Replacement DVD Disc Drive for Xbox 360 My XBOX360's DVD drive failed and I needed a replacement drive. This was the same type of drive that was in my console. I had recovered the firmware from the drive that was no longer working and was eagerly anticipating the replacement drives arrival. The drive arrived in a timely manner, but when I had received it, I noticed that I had received an XBOX360 drive, but it was a Hitachi drive. Although, it would work in my console, I had to spend an additional three hours working on my console to adapt the firmware for the new drive. Installation of Hitachi drives into another XBOX360 is a bit more involved than the Phillips BenQ drives, and the drives are noisier to boot. I have an original style, "fat" Playstation 2, and I use it as a DVD player as well. I've wanted an actual remote, however, for quite a while and hadn't been able to find one anywhere in retail stores, nor online. (The majority I found on larger shopping websites were for the slimmer models of the PS2, so they wouldn't work on mine). The moment I clicked on vpGames' website I found exactly the remote I was looking for, and priced fairly, too. I ordered it at once and it was shipped promptly; furthermore, I've had no problems with the remote since it arrived. Overall, vpGames was a great experience, and I know I'll be going back to them in the future if I have a similar need!

I recently purchased a "Philips BENQ VAD 6038 Replacement DVD Disc Drive for Xbox 360" from vpgames.com. The item said it was "NEW". I purchased it so i could use it for parts for my current one. When I received the "NEW" unit, I went to open it. The silver tape showed signs of tampering and the other 2 tapes indicating "VOID IF OPENED" were tampered with as well and one was not even original...it had another sticker placed over it. When I did open the unit, it was dirty inside with dirt, dust and hair. THIS was NOT a NEW unit. I ordered a replacement top screen for my sons DSLite. I got the screen within good shipping time. However, the new screen does not come with the attached speakers. Therefore, my son does not have sound anymore. We see no way to detach the speakers from his old screen and no instructions for installation came with the new one. This information should have been shared in the description of the item.

I bought 4 Gameboy to Gamecube link cables. They were a very reasonable price (I always shop around) especially since they were official Nintendo products. Supersonic shipping speed. I'd almost think they were zapped to my doorstep rather than thinking they actually went through USPS. I honestly got two things shipped to me the same day, VP games in California and something else from Wisconsin (I live in Michigan) and the cables from VP games got to me faster, both sent the same class from USPS.

I recently purchased gold plated component video cables for the xbox 1 from VPgames. I received the package three days after ordering it. The package arrived very quickly and the product was in great shape. I have been needing these cables for quite some time. When I saw that they were around three dollars on VP games, I had to buy them. I have absolutely no complaints at all. The service was great, prices were great, and the product is great. I honestly wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. I might just have to pony up and buy a couple more cables.

I purchased the New Mad Catz 1080p HDMI Conversion Kit for Xbox 360 from VP Games. A must say that it was pricey, but that's supply and demand, and they were the ONLY people around who carried it. (Believe me, I checked everyone from Mad Catz to every shopping and video game site in the western hemisphere!) My order was processed promptly. I received it quickly, and it was it excellent condition with everything that was promised included. I will most definitely consider purchasing hard-to-find gaming products from them again.

I had ordered an NES / SNES System bundle. I don't know why but I just wanted to play old games again, well this was a great system because it came with 2 games and the system and controllers and everything like that. The games I got weren't that good but it was supposed to be random so thats not their fault. The system *does* play all my old games like it promised it would, and I have had no problems at all. It arrived on time and I like it very much, thanks vp games, you guys rock and I will definitely be back for christmas as this would make a great present for my sister.

Shipping, service, promptness, all very good. The product was truly a disappointment. It is a small screwdriver set (tri-wing) to repair a game. They are offered at under $2 by others and I spent a little more here expecting a serviceable product. What I got is of such poor quality it may or may not finish the job. The fit and finish of the screwdriver tip is so poor it required a little touch up with a fine file to work at all. It will do my job because I have machinist skills to touch it up. Someone without the skills and tools may not be able to use the screwdriver at all. Thus far I have not located any supplier with a quality tool for this screwball tri-wing screw.

I got my item in a reasonable time. That's the only good thing. The product didn't live up to expectations and performance. I wrote an email response for assistance, which is their so called preferred method, and have heard nothing back. It's been over 2 weeks now and all I have received are automated emails to ask me about my opinion. The bag I ordered and shown in your advertisement was a silver and black bag. The one I received was all black. I was shocked but kept it rather than spending time and money returning it. When you order online you should receive what is advertised. But I didn't.

We ordered PS2 Swap Magic Plus Import Game Enable from VP Games. We received our purchase in a reasonable amount of time - it must have been good because my 15 year old son didn't drive me nuts waiting for it. I saw him little for the next 48 hours while he "broke in" his new product so he was obviously a happy camper. Good experience, good price, an all around positive transaction done by VP Games. :)
