What a rip off!! We turned around and went right back home after learning of the decision, THAT MORNING, to stop offering the reduced admission price for arriving after 4:00pm. I also learned that it would cost me $8.00 to park my car. That little tid bit of information wasn't on the website. At this point I was still unaware of the up-charge for chairs on the beach, access to the wave pool, and the inner tubes!! I really would have been angry had I stayed and found out about this the hard way. There was no mention of this on the website either, by the way. I found that out after reading other people's reviews. Which reminds me, there were a few that were actually good. I found them a bit suspect, to say the least. This review only has a rating of one star because I couldn't figure out how to give a ZERO!!!!

This is our family's third year to hold season passes. It has been the best year so far. First couple of weekends the staff and management were still working out the kinks. By the time the three-day July 4th weekend rolled around it was running smoothly. My husband and I went to the park every day for the holiday. The teens did too - just not with us! We've met some wonderful folks lounging around various areas of the waterpark. The colorful parade was nice but too short. The fireworks were awesome as we sipped our beers and toasted a remarkably fun weekend!

Enough tough the park charges for lockers, floats, and chairs; I feel it is a good value. The lines are shorter and the drive is not that bad! It not a large theme park but it is a good value! I feel I will get my money's worth for my season passes. My daughter and I had a wonderful time! It's great to be able to go a water park and amusement park all in the same day.

White Water Atlanta may be a longer drive, but it is MUCH more fun! Prices are too high, and do not include what most people have come to expect as part of the admission fee. Seems to me you can't have it both ways. A one price includes all admission, or a pay as you play plan. One OR the other, folks, not both!

I thought things were going to be better this year. I paid about $350 for my family to all have season passes. That's no small change. After plopping down my $350 I was a little upset to find that I had to pay for floats to ride the water slides and go into the wave pool. Last year there were plenty of free floats and you only had to pay for floats if you wanted one all to yourself. The fact that they're required to enjoy certain parts of the park should mean that they're provided with the price of admission. I also decided to take a little break on the beach at the wave pool. I sat down in one of the white chairs that they have on the beach. A Visionland employee came over and told me that you have to rent the chair. RENT THE CHAIRS?! I paid all of this money to gain access to the park and now I'm expected to pay to sit down. I understand that its a business and they want to make money but honestly I think this is the wrong way to go about it. They may make more money for the momen... Read more
