I would highly recommend these movers: Wow! All I can say is wow! These guys made my move so incredibly easy. I was moving into a luxury condominium building that has very strict insurance requirements. A man named Dace from the Velocity's office immediately contacted me once I accepted their bid. He and I were in contact the entire time up until the day of the move. He was available all of the time and even responded to my e-mails on weekend. He was extremely helpful in providing all of the paperwork my building needed. He worked directly with the management company and I did not even need to be involved. About a week before the move I needed to add my big screen TV to the job. They were more than willing to accommodate my request and we negotiated an additional fee for the TV. On the day of the move, they were 15 minutes early, which was impressive, based on my experience with other movers. I used velocity moving for my move from NY to FL. the company was great in explaining how the moving process works as it was my first time using a moving company. They also took their time to explain me how to pack the items so I can save some money. Every time I called with additional questions, there was someone who was able to address my concerns. As it got close to my move date, dispatch called me to give me the window of truck's arrival. Movers were very nice and professional. Since, I am a single woman I needed some help with my packing. They helped me to putt apart my bed and packed my TV. I was concerned about my final weight, and had additional concerns about my delivery. I shared my concerns with dispatch and they were kind enough to take their time to talk to me and kept in touch with me throughout the process. I received my belongings within a week after pick-up. I had a very good experience and I'm planning to recommend this company to all of my friends!

I recently used velocity Moving to complete my move from NYS to Sacramento, CA. It was without a doubt the best and easiest move I have ever had to make in my whole life. I have had some horror story moves in the past and was truly afraid of having yet another. These guys were upfront, honest and true to their word from beginning to end. I had a few other companies offering me low rates, but it felt like they were hiding something and waiting to drop all sorts of "extras" on me once they had taken my stuff prisoner. This had happened to me twice before. VELOCITY Made me feel safe and they disclosed everything to me right from the start. They moved my belongings without any damage worth mentioning and the price was more than reasonable and best of all..it was exactly what they told me it would be from the start!

I have used velocity movers a few times, but this time they came through in the clutch. We had to have some things moved on the fly and they really helped us out. The price was right and yeah, we couldn't be happier! Thanks velocity!

I would like to say that I was more then happy about this company. I hired VELOCITY Moving to move me to my new apartment in Henderson NV They sent a truck with a very short notice and as promissed. The movers that arrived to my house were more then just "movers" they were just so friendly and helpful. Though I did not have many things to move the guys were incredibly fast. I have used Velocity a lot the past year. Every time they have been perfect - hard working, careful with all our belongings, clean and pleasent. They treated my moves as if they were moving their own stuff. Not one thing was broken. With all the service the prices were very reasonable. Will use them again in the future for any moving needs.

From the first phone call, to the email follow-up and, in particular, on the day of the move those movers exceeded expectations. The crew called ahead, showed up on time, was pleasent and professional and executed my move from my storage unit, to my old house and then on to my new house all within 3 hours 15 mins! And this included moving upstairs and putting furniture together. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone!

I cant say enough about Velocity Moving and Storage. They moved me out of my NYC apt into storage and then back into nyc 2 months later. Both moves couldnt go any smoother. Both moves the moving men were soo pleasant and made me feel so comfortable. They showed up when they told me they were going to come and then moved me in literally 40 minutes. They were horrible! They didn't come when they said they would, (they were 6 hours late!) even though each time WE called them, they said they'd be there in 10 min. Then they said they would have the boxes delivered within 5 days, and it took over 2 weeks, without one phone call. Every time we tried to contact someone they would suddenly disconnect, and then not answer their phone. We had to deal with 6 different people, all confused, and uninformed. Overall, an absolutely TERRIBLE experience! So disappointing.

They gave me an estimate of 7 hours and finished the job in 5! i was amazed by the moving crew and the final price. i never thought i will pay less then the estimate but they saved me over $200. i will you velocity moving anytime!

My experience was nothing but positive from the very beginning. I had to change my move date two times because of a glitch with the schedule of the building, but the moving staff was helpful and patient with me. The employees were very kind and professional over the phone, and the movers were incredible. They moved me from Astoria to Manhattan in under three hours. I would definately use them again and recommend them to others.

I had an excellent experience with Velocity Movers. Their customer service people are friendly and informative. Their movers were timely, pleasant, careful and relentless. Our delicate antiques were well cared for, furniture was placed where we wanted it. They take their job seriously and do it well. It was the smoothest move we've ever made.

I scheduled them for moving reading all the reviews. And I picked them over a random person off on Craigslist. They took deposit upfront to get me scheduled and NEVER SHOWED UP ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE. And to top it never gave me a notice so that I could schedule it with someone else. The scheduled move was for 5:00PM and I get a call from the dispatcher Jacobs at 4:53 PM saying he is running late might be there by 7:00 PM. But he never came and did not even have the decency to call me and letting me know. When spoke to Ryan over the phone the day after the move which never happened she HUNG UP on me and was VERY RUDE to speak to. Bottom line - DON'T GET THEM. They are all about the talks.

VELOCITY moved me two weeks ago and did an excellent job! I used a different mover for my previous move less than a year ago and that company came with an undersized truck, and not enough equipment. It took them much longer to move the same items. So when it was time to move again I checked companies, had a few estimates and out of the five estimators that came to see me, VELOCITY quote was not the cheapest but also not the highest. The care and attentiveness that their estimator showed, however, was of the highest level. I felt they were the right choice and they proved me right and did not let me down.

I spoke with Julia from the moving velocity in regards to my moving request. Julia made me feel very comfortable about using her company, and informed me of many cost that other companies never mentioned. Becuase of this I decided to move with the moving experts. A day before my move the movers called me to confirm my pick up window for the next day. They arrive during that window and started to gather my belongings together. They did inform me that I had a few extra boxes (which I did) and had to charge me around $50.00 more. I was happy that they told me about this cost before they moved it on the truck so I could decide to keep it or not. There were no extra rates and the extra space I took was at the same price as they told me orginally. ( I've see so many stories when I was researching that movers will give a higher rate on the pick up) Julia insurred me that would not happen, and she kept her word. From the moment Julia answered my call to Velocity Moving I felt assured that my move would go smoothly. I have moved 4 times before this one. But this one was the biggest, most complicated move to date. Julia was responsive and moreover, creative in helping me figure out how to optimize my time and minimize my costs. Hands down, I would recommend VELOCITY Moving to anyone with any type of moving need.

One of the best moving experiences I've had. Very gentle with my belongings, very efficient, and very courteous. From the moment I inquired about booking with the company, they were prompt with answers to any questions and provided fantastic customer service. I would use them again and have recommended them to my friends. The main reason- i was quoted $700 for my move and end up paying only $450.they were very fast moving me in and out and saved me $250. those guys are the best!!

I spoke with Velocity Moving at length about my move and was told that I would only be charged from pick up to drop off but not additional travel time. The estimate I received had 2 hours of travel time for a distance of 75 miles, clearly a one way estimate. Yet AFTER the move was complete, I was told that i would be charged for an ADDITIONAL 2 hours of travel time back (almost $200 more!). I spoke to the manager who told me she was sorry that the sales rep made a mistake but they would not honor their word and would still have to charge me for an extra two hours. I would NEVER use this company again. Moving is always a bit stressful, and this company, and particularly the manager I spoke with, made my move an even more stressful experience.

We were looking for a local moving company for a challenging, short notice move. 5 bedroom house, we'd been there 20+ years. I have used commercial movers in the past and the results have been mixed. These folks were great. Very good estimate, and the actuall price ended up lower, because the movers were more efficient than expected. Should be noted that the moving staff were all company employees, not temps. During this 2 day move the movers were friendly and quick, even when we threw them a few last minute curves. The estimater had planned well. Moving foreman was excellent! As a logistics proffesional myself with some 30 years experience, I would strongly reccomend this company to anyone. Moving ones home is a very personal experience. These folks exceeded expectations, met all commitments, and were a pleasure to work with.

I had my whole house packed and moved recently and I am very satisfied with the service. The office staff provided a detailed estimate for my move. The moving crew did a great job packing, wrapping and moving ALL of my furniture and boxes. There were no damages and the crew was very professional. Great service. They sent Mike and Tom to move our two bedroom apartment and i could not have been happier with the service. We lived on the third floor and were moving to a second floor apartment, so I thought it would take a lot longer than they had predicted. The guys worked without a break and at an amazing quick pace and had the job done on time. Highly recommended.

I called these movers and received a good price...They gave me a time the movers would arrive ..I was so happy to see them at my home on time and ready to work..I have moved many times with many different moving companys but these guys are the best..When I move again I will call them!

I recently moved from NY to UT and decided to book with Velocity Moving. They gave me a quote of $1,612 and that is excatly what I paid. I was reasurred that my quote would be a gaurenteed quote and with so many stories you read now you never know who to believe. The movers came on time and worked very hard. Within a few hours the movers had everything (my life!) loaded onto the truck. Within a week I received a phone call that my stuff was on its way! Everyone I worked with spoke to me with great costumer service, understandment, and knowledge of what they do. I would recommend this company to anyone who is out there trying to move!
