Sun Apr 26 2009This company is awful, they have ripped me off on my trcuk, my payoff is about 3,000, and with a 21% apr they said my payoff is the same amount, I have paid out so much money that I am more than positive that the ruck should be paid off but they keep giving me lame excusses. They call me if I am one day late on a payment and threaten to come and get my truck, even though I have paid more than 4 times worth it's value. They harass me the day before payment and they are rude as can be. Someone needs to shut this compnay down. Do not use them and do not trust them. I do not recomend them to anyone at all.

Tue Aug 19 2008I have been a customer of United Auto Credit for almost a year. I am very disappointed with this company. First, I have not ever recieved a phone number to contact them. When I bought my truck, they just sent the pay vouchers and that was all. When I did have a question about a title scam that the company I bought my truck from was under investigation for, I had no way of contacting them. I "googled" their company and called them. The lady actually asked me how I got their number?!?! I send them money EVERY month and they do not want me calling? Seriously? And second, BEWARE, if you are ONE day late on a payment they are calling you and threatning you. They had the nerve to call my friend and then ask him if he would loan me the money to pay my truck payment. The check was in the mail, it was a hoilday weekend. They need to learn how to read a calendar too!!! Only go to this place if you have to and make up references. They do not call to check unless they want your money!!

Thu Jul 24 2008If you are a customer of UAC beacuse your credit score is considered high risk, don't ever be late on a payment. UAC will inform everyone you have ever talked to (in your lifetime) about your delinquincy and then attempt to extort money out of you (and others) via slander. At one point I was late on a payment by 5 days, (Note via general contract you have a 10 day grace period) and UAC began calling references I had listed at all hours of the day. I believe they are extremely unprofessional with thier "scare tactics"...Needless to say it taught me a valuable lesson in regards to my credit score, and thus i refinanced my vehicle. I do not reccomended this loan shark to anyone, you may end up losing your leg, arm, or foot once they put a number out on you.

Tue Sep 18 2007I am a customer of United Auto Credit. They service those that are hard to qualify because of credit issues. If your name is listed as a reference then they will call and harass you. As long as they have a name and number, they will call everyone that is listed as a reference. The problem I have with them is they will call if you are one day late from the due date. I will not use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone! You might as well go to a buy here...pay here lot! They are obnoxious with their tactics!

Wed Dec 27 2006Let me start by saying that I am their customer, yet they harassed me! My son's girlfriend put down my phone number as a contact. When her payment was three days late they calling me at 8:00 am looking for her. After explaining it was only 8:00 am and even if she was here, I was not inclined to conduct a phone conversation with a collection agent at 8:00 and to please not call here again, I hung up. The next day at 8:11 am they called again. This time of course the conversation was more combative. After explaining again that this was not "her" phone number and not to call "me" again, the man said that because she had put down my phone number as a contact, he would continue to call at his discretion. "What"? Let me speak to your supervisor. His response... You have no business with this office and no right to go over my head! "What"? If I have no business with your office then why do you have the right to harass me? Because you are listed as a contact! It goes on and on from there. DO N... Read more
