The movers were on time to start, they finished our move in record time, and they took pains to make sure everything was right where we wanted it. The price was just what I was quoted - and it was a low price too! They came recommended highly to me - and I'll recommend them highly to you.

It would be nice if the service from Unicorn was the same you get everywhere else. The movers showed up at the scheduled time. They confirmed exactly what needed moving. They worked efficiently and carefully. They caused no damage and no mess. They were polite and friendly the whole time. It was also obvious that these were experienced movers who knew all the tricks for getting large things through small spaces without damaging the property.

Our movers did a fantastic job! They arrived two hours early and moved everything down three grueling flights of stairs very quickly. I received about 6 price quotes for our move and Unicorn was priced considerably under all of the other quotes. We even bought boxes from them for half the price you would normally spend and we received most of our money back from the boxes because of a special they had going at the time. Everyone we spoke to was very helpful and pleasant! I will be calling them if we have to move again!

I have used Unicorn Movers twice and they have delivered two flawless moves. They have moved me up and down stairs, finessed my giant couch through some tight spots, and hauled tons of books for me - all without a problem. The movers themselves are very friendly and great at what they do.

This was my second time to use Unicorn to move some of my mother's belongings to/from an assisted living facility. I have been impressed both times with the promptness and courteousness of the movers. In fact, they were early both times! And, they were able to move us on very short notice both times. I will certainly call them again.

I had a 100% positive experience using Unicorn for my recent move. Despite me changing pretty much every parameter of my move at the last minute, they juggled their trucks and their people to bail me out. We have had an opportunity to use the Unicorn Movers twice in past 6 months. A few months ago our son's mother in law moved from one city to another. We were there and were impressed with the efficient and above average moving service. Recently we had to have an entertainment center moved from our house to our son;s house. Because of previous good experience we decided to use Unicorn again. The entertainment center was a large unit that had been assembled in the room and we were not even sure it could go thru the door without dissambly. Your guys were exceptional and had it out the door and in the truck quickly. They delivered it to the destination with the same efficiency. We were very pleased with your movers. Used Unicorn Moving. Gave a good accurate qoute. The two move-guys they sent were very friendly. Knew exactly how to move the items.. big , small , heavy , bulky.. No damage at all. It was raining that day and they took good care of the carpet laying their own pads. Moved couple of plants and they got moved in a great shape. Definitely recommend them.. I manage a few day spas here in Austin, and we have ALWAYS used Unicorn exclusively for our moving needs. They are prompt, reliable, flexible with our hectic schedules and demands, professional, and just plain fun to work with. We often times entrust them with equipment that is worth thousands of dollars, and we have NEVER had a bad experience. My first time using a moving company was with Unicorn. I can honestly say I will never go back to buying my friends beer and pizza to help me move! They were very competitive in their pricing (I received quotes from 3 other local companies and they were by far the best). They also offered hourly and flat rate quotes. The movers arrived on time and got straight to work. They were very friendly, did not stop for breaks and put everything exactly where I wanted it in the new apartment. I noticed one of my neighbor's using Unicorn Moving and asked her what she thought of them. She had nothing but good things to say to them. When it came time for my own personal move, I contacted Unicorn Moving for a quote. I also contacted 4 other places (some larger name co. and some not so big) and Unicorn was by far the best priced company. They showed up on time, did my move, made a stop along the way to pick up additional furniture and unloaded at the final destination. I was pleased with their professionalism and flexibility to add last minute unplanned items. Unicorn movers: what can I say, they were more than I expected. I had to move out of my home then move back in a month later, due to foundation repairs. This was the first time I have ever used a moving company and didn't have many people to refer anyone to me. Marilyn came in at first to review what had to be moved and she not only looked at my home items as stuff to be moved and stored but as pieces for a home. She was upfront and honest with what I could do to make the move easier on myself. I then bought most of my boxes from them and in hind sight I wish they were closer so I could have got them all from them. They were solid good boxes. Anyway when the team of movers came to my home we had so much fun they were like brothers to me. Asking question, being honest, joking with the amount I had to move ( I had 12 container to fill). They were able to make a last minute move to our pick up time, still arrived exactly on time, moved everything faster than I could have imagined, and not one scratch on anything they touched. The two gentlemen that moved our things were polite, professional, and very nice to work with. Everyone in the office was quick and helpful. Fantastic job guys!

We have used several different moving companies in our past moves, but for our most recent move, we decided to use Unicorn Moving and Storage because we received a flyer in the mail giving us an additional 10% off of the move. When I called in to get a quote, the lady helping me, who was extremely friendly and personable, gave me an additional 5% off of our price. The movers on the day of the move were Israel and Larry and they showed up on time, were super professional and did a great job. We would definitely use them again. Overall it was a great experience and made our move a lot easier.

Unicorn moving was great. The guys were right on time, very courteous and most importantly - careful with the furniture. Unicorn Movers was awesome! First they moved furniture into my garage while I was having the floors redone, and the two gentlemen were very cautious and very ,very nice. They worked fast which was appreciated, and they were careful with each piece from the very important to the least important. Several days later two different gentleman came to move furniture back into the house, and the same kudos go to them. They were also helpful with allowing me time to put felt pads on each piece as they lifted them up, and I am very grateful for that. I definitely recommend Unicorn Movers!!

We are so happy that our move went off without a hitch. Even though "IKE" loomed--our movers were on time, courteous, and funny. They loaded us up and got us moved very quickly and not one thing got broken! They took care of our things like they were their own belongings. I hope we don't have to move again for a long time, but if and when we do, we'll call Unicorn again! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I see why 3 of my friends recommended that I use Unicorn Moving. We had just married and were merging 2 large households. Marilyn came out and gave us an almost flawless bid to pack and store almost everything from both homes until our new home was finished being built. It was the perfect move from beginning to end. The guys did a fantastic job packing, storing and moving us into our new home. We had a different team for each house, and both crews were quick, organized and courteous. They packed both house quicker and cheaper then estimated. The following day they brought out their storage containers and carefully lwrapped everything and loaded them as they said they would. When our home was finally ready to move into, Unicorn sent the same great guys to deliver our furniture. Everything was set-up exactly the way we wanted. The office I work for needed some of their extra office desks, chairs, and things moved to our storage. We scheduled an early move [8am]. The movers with Unicorn Moving were awesome! They arrived right on time, moved everything quickly and without wasting time or breaking anything. They were friendly and very professional. I'll definitely be using Unicorn for my next move!

Unicorn Moving provided fast and affordable service w/o trying to sell me additonal services I didn't need. They even threw in a couple of wardrobe boxes for free. They scheduled my appointment on the day that I wanted and arrived on time. Nothing was damaged and the movers took their time to move the larger items so as not to damage them. Thanks Unicorn!

Have used Unicorn Moving twice. When they moved my wife and I they actually arrived a little early instead of late. They had a pleasant attitude and did a very professional job. I was so impressed, a year later I hired them again to move my mom and stepfather out to their retirement property. She was also impressed, especially since they had just put in a twelve hour day moving them. She called me a week later happy to report that nothing was damaged.

I have moved many times and it is a thankless job. Unicorn showed up on time, handled my belongings with care & asked questions as appropriate. They were punctual, professional & hard working. The company was easy to deal with, easy to get in touch with. I did have a few add ons as it is hard to estimate boxes before the move and the initial bid was reasonable as was the additional charge. I actually would hire them again if I need to move again and this time I would even have them pack it.

I had unicorn once and they were pretty good even though one guy was an idiot and the other guy had to do it by himself and was very good so...

I have used Unicorn Movers for three moves and each time I do I wish I was planning to move again...even during the move! They are nice, fast, freindly, they have never broken are marred anything. The guys they send are so freindly. I hope you use them. I think everyone should. I just can't say enough about how fair and great they are! Use them, use them, use them!!

Serioulsy though. These guys were not careful with any of my furniture. The price was less than other companies, but I see why!! If you are looking for someone cheap who will thow around your belongings go with them. I should have bribed a few college kids with some beer. They probably would have been more careful. This is only after I was stood up by another company the day before.

This was the first time I used a mover so I was a bit nervous, but Unicorn Movers were very helpful and were able to give me a binding estimate. They adjusted the estimate a day before the move because I discovered that I had fewer boxes. Also, they were on time and the movers were great guys.

Unicorn moving was prompt (actually there 15 minutes early). The movers were personable. We honestly did not think they (the two men sent out) would be able to get our heavy, oak wall units upstairs at our new house, and within minutes they were set up and ready to go. We were amazed. I just used Unicorn Moving for the second time. They came last week and packed my house and came the next day and moved us. This was a large move and the movers handled themselves very professionally. I don't think I was the easiest person to deal with because I was concerned about our furniture being handled correctly. They soon instilled confidence when I saw how carefully they were with my belongings. I have referred Unicorn in the past and will continue in the future. I hope that this will by my last move for a very long time put if not they will be my only call.

Disregard what the doubters have said! My experience with Unicorn Moving was truly the best I've ever had with a moving company. Many times in the past, my experience has been bad from the start. Not so with these guys. The help that I recieved from the office staff was quite exceptional. The moving tips they gave were a life-saver. From the instant the movers arrived, I was delighted! Well, its 230pm and the movers were supposed to be here at 11am. I have called about 5 times, each time I get the same response: "I cant get a hold of the movers. I will call you as soon as I get ahold of them." No calls. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. I can't believe that citysearch rated this company so high. Call somebody else!

The man that took my information over the phone for my move gave me a really good impression of their company. He promised that the movers were "professionals"...and he was right. They arrived on time, were courteous with my elderly mother and her belongings, didn't flinch twice at her somewhat incessant demands, and did it all with a smile.
