This move has been quite an ordeal. In speaking with our salesman, John, my boyfriend was told that we could bring over double the 12 large boxes we were quoted at and still qualify for a mini-move of around $1,000. We told John we would like our move delivered on the 2nd-4th. John said this wouldn't be an issue at all and that the movers would call us 24 hours in advance. When we began to realize we were going to be around double the size, we tried to get in touch multiple times and no one ever called us back within business hours. When the movers actually arrived, they told us we had 450-500 sq feet of boxes. We noted this was impossible and actually did the math on the marked sq feet per box (most of our boxes were small) which amounted to 130 cubic feet. I am really in disbelief of how horribly this company operates. The sales reps (Sebastain specifically) tell blatant lies or anything necessary to win business and trick people into getting a service they are certainly not going to receive. They act with no accountability and I will not stop telling my experience to every review site and regulator I can 1. I told the sales rep I would not work with Uber because I wasn't comfortable with the language in the contract that said it could take up to 31 days for something to be delivered in the distance I was going. I simply couldn't go that long without my belongings. -Sebastian said he COULD guarantee my delivery by the 14th. He was even able to waive the typical fee to have that guarantee and included that guarantee on the quote/work order (charged .01 for this) It is now 1/28 and I still don't have my belongings. I would like to say that Uber Movers Company is the best one I have dealt with. I am a musician and it was of a high importance for me to hire a professional company that would wrap up and move my instruments which were kind of fragile. I made a reservation with Sebastian a very friendly fellow at Uber who confirmed it emailing me at the end of the day. It was very professional in my opinion. David, Sergo and Luis, three awesome guys, came to my not very big house. They brought tape, rigid boxes, shrink wrap and packed al my stuff very carefully including the musical instruments. Since I changed my place of living, I had to move to another state couple of weeks ago. I was extremely worried about my new piano not to get damaged since there was a long way to drive from my old home to my new one. This company will lie directly to your face and will break your stuff if they deliver it at all. They did not show up on time. They delivered my stuff late. They lied to me through the entire process. All of the positive reviews are fake as you can see they use the same diction and syntax. If you use this company I guarantee 100% you will regret it. DO NOT LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY OR HOW NICE THEY SEEM!! Once they have your stuff it is over. They are a broker no matter what they tell you. I and three other friends used them and all of us had AWFUL experiences. This is not an exception this is the norm. This company will screw you.

This is indeed one of the best ways to end my year, being able to transfer to our new home finally before the year ends. I have to give a huge thanks to uber for being responsible and giving a big hand in the success of my move. If not because of them, I might have had lots of problems and nightmares along the way. I salute this company for the great service they provided. I only got to read the experiences of the previous customers at first but when I hired them for my move last time, I was able to have a firsthand experience to base this review on. I most certainly doubted the numerous positive reviews at first but after they proved themselves last week, I certainly had no doubts about them anymore.

I would give them 0 stars if it was possible. Run away from this place. They will double the cost and hold your things hostage. They will store your things in a warehouse, move them more than once and things will get lost and damaged. They bring nothing with them to protect the floors or carpeting. They are the WORST!! And the insurance is a joke. You have to provide all kinds of estimates jut to get pennies on the pound for damages. I had broken drawers, cracked chairs, and scratched surfaces of many of my furniture pieces. I did the repairs myself and they wouldn't pay me for the damages. STAY AWAY from Uber Movers!!!! I am perfectly satisfied with the outcome of my move. Uber did so well with their job that it ended on time and had no problems with the handling of my stuff. I like the organization and the system that they are using with packing, forwarding, transporting and delivering the things of their customers. If you want justice with the money that you pay, then you must consider them in your shortlist.

I was torn between two companies to hire for the move and uber was one of them. Lots of people were in my ear telling me that uber is the one to trust and they gave me a whole lot more reasons why I should choose them. I ended up listening to them and booking uber for my move. They took good care of my belongings. They also carried out their duty very well by being courteous at all times. Packing, loading to unloading and re-assembling everything went so smooth. We contacted Uber movers for a long distance move from Texas to Vermont. We have a 5 bedroom home so this is a rather large move. I talked with "Jason" who's signature line says "Quality Assurance Manager". He had me do an "online inventory" form. I did this and then he went over it line by line. He also called my wife and went over the items once again. I expressed concern about his estimate being quite a bit lower than the others and he responded by email and stated "This is a binding not to exceed estimate, I don't know what else to say". I asked what happened if we were over the amount and he then said "Be thankful you went with us. We don't weigh the truck so we won't charge over the amount we quoted". Who could have thought that a simple phone call for inquiry will lead to my most satisfied experience yet? Uber did a really great job handling my case when I moved to Miami. I am particularly amazed by their synergistic efforts to finish the job on time. I have been to other companies but I have never seen anyone of them perform in a way that uber did. My friend Jefferson referred me to uber when I had to move to another state last month. He gave me all the links and websites where I can learn more about the company before I even start to talk to them in their office. When I think I already gained enough information about them (which was basically a mix of good and bad reviews) I took the chance to talk to them personally. They gave me a very reasonable quote and they promised me to do a great job and hit my customer satisfaction. They arrived at my home on time when they picked up my stuff and they also arrived on time when they had to deliver them in my new address. It has been our dream to move to another state since my husband and I wanted a more peaceful and greener place. So, last month we had the decision to finally take my Mom's house in Virginia and had to hire a moving company to give us a hand for all of our stuff. We contacted uber and they were courteous and polite. They gave us a reasonable quote and promised to do good with the move. We kind of trusted them right away since the guy really looked so convincing and sincere. As a result, they sure did keep their promise and the move concluded on time.

Uber really did a great job in my move. Things went on very smoothly from my lovely loft in NJ to my new home in Miami. The reason why I booked them for the move is because they were recommended to me by a great friend of mine. He insisted that they will surely carry out such a great move for me and my family. On 9/7/13 we were told they were loading our stuff onto the truck and it would arrived in 3 days. 9/10/13 came and NO DELIVERY. We called. Again we were told that we would have our stuff by 9/14/13. We waiting. SHOCK! NO DELIVERY! We called again and were told our stuff was on the truck in NC and it would be here Monday 9/16/13. STILL didn't show up. Then we called and called and no one would return our phone calls. We filed a complaint with the BBB after three days of no calls. People should really consider working with uber. They are certainly the master of their craft and they make it sure that their customers are always highly satisfied. From the time I talked to Manisha about their company up until my last box was delivered. Indeed, uber movers is the best catch.

Do not use this company. They will lie and tell you exactly what you want to hear to make the sale, but then you are sitting around waiting for your stuff, with no idea as to when it is going to arrive. And they will tell you repeatedly that it is coming, just to get you off the phone, but you wait around all day with no contact, and they don't come. My movers did eventually bring my stuff, but after days of waiting. And a lot of my boxes were destroyed. Shattered. And it looks like a rat chewed through one of them. And they stole a watch. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Moving is stressful, don't make it worse by going with them.

I am so excited to enter college this year though it means I should move to another state. I have been working on this scholarship for so long that even the long distance can never stop me.
