Solid bang-for-the-buck. Better priced than more powerful over-the-counter stuff, it's still a must-have for traveling. And congrats to a company that gave solid instruction of how to really deal with a disaster. When I was in school in the 80's, Tylenol had a serious poisoning scandal that could've crippled the company. They survived and thrived - I always kinda respected that. . . Anyways, best product-for-the-price.

it is in most of the sinus and cold meds I take and it seems to help with sinus things but like someone else already said (sorry, don't remember who) it isn't much on inflammation.

I only use Tylenol when absolutely necessary, because taking any kind of medication for any length of time can be very dangerous. But I will say this for Tylenol: it does relieve pain.

Awful product. This leaves my headache duller but still ever present. Whatever. Does not seem to relieve any aches or pains!

Reasonably effective against aches and pains but, in my case, takes a long time to work, usually 30-45 minutes - quite awhile if you're waiting for a bad headache to go away. In my experience, Advil Liquigels usually work better and in about half the time.

Since Tylenol does not reduce inflamation like most other pain relievers I find it pretty useless

Although this is acetemenophin (sp?), it kinda works like Advil. The trick is that it doesn't upset your stomach, which is why many hospitals and DR offices use it more than Advil or aspirin.

Way Overrated, Not only do they have no effect whatsoever on my pain, they do cause liver damage, and my doctor now cancelled back surgery. After I reqested something effective, he ordered a neuropsych evaluation. In my case, Tylenol served to INCREASE pain, although indirectly. Doctors need to know that since effective pain releivers without anti-inflammatories are not available to us over the counter, it is their DUTY to be a responsible gatekeeper for narcotics, and not deny those who are suffering from proper meds.

Usually tylenol and excerdrin are best for headaches. Howerver for arthtis, muscle pain, and tension headaches Ibuprofin/advil is best

Agrivated my Migraines, intensifing the throb, making me see flassing colored lights and brings them on if I don't have one. Many studies have shown that they were less effective than placebos in Migraine and the JAMA claimes thay kill many braincells. I avoid this stuff.

Tylenol works the best for me. Its hard to rate these pain relievers, because everyone is different and you just have to find the one that works for you.

It doesn't work for me. And NEVER drink beer or liqueur at the same time if you value your liver!!!! The goverment forced them to place that on their lable.

I think more people should be aware of the danger of this so called"placebo". When taken in quantities that exceed the recommenned dosage you risk liver damage. I know this for a fact. Just any doctor. Better yet call the poison control center.

not too bad. does the job but at a slower pace than something like excederine. i mean, i'd use tylenol but after a night of hard drinking and drug abuse i'd much rather grab have excederine in my medicine cabinet

Tylenol is good for a lot of things, it gets rid or reduces my headaches, fevers, and any aches and pains I may have, This is the only pain reliever I will give my 4 and a half month old baby, It works very well with fevers and thats why I give it a 5!

It's the best kind of pain reliver for when you have a deep headache, that you can't get rid of. Tylenol is the best to use. You have to take only one or two, unlike other pills for which you have to take 8. The main thing is...it works.

I just had to come in here and give good old Tylenol a 5 rating because it has been a God-send to me in times of pain. --- You see I am allergic to several ingredients that are found in most other pain relievers, but not to what is in Tylenol, and of all the ones I CAN take, Tylenol works the best by far!!!! Whether its headache, menstral pain or feverish-pain from flu, invariably in a half-hour or less my pain is either gone, or greatly reduced. TYLENOL IS THE BEST!

I can't really give a lot of credit to Tylenol. You have to take a lot of pills to kill any type of pain. There is a lot more stronger and better pills these days.

Very good for a variety of pain. If you're pregnant it's the only safe medicine to take. I like gel caps for safety reasons and they're easy to swallow.

Tylenol is good for mild aches and pains. It's easy on your stomach and comes in gel coated or regular capsules. For stronger pain I go with the extra-strength, however I don't find even the extra-strength to be helpful with muscle cramps.

Personally, I think Tylenol is a great pain reliever. It truly helps to relieve pain and headaches. I really recommend Tylenol to people who have headaches, body aches, and any other types of pain. It is fast relief from a reasonable price. But like every other drug, your body will eventually build resistance to it.

Is it just me, or is Tylenol good for nothing? I think they give it to people in the hospital because it doesn't help and they want to keep people as paying customers.

Tylenol is a great product for me, mainly because I'm allergic to aspirin. Tylenol contains no aspirin and is safe for me to take. It also works effectively to take away my headaches like the one I have today.

Tylenol is okay if you have a mild headache but for serious ones, I suggest Aleve. It took 5 days for Tylenol to get rid of my fever once I had it.

Yeah I like Tylenol. To be honest I would probably choose to take Tylenol over Advil because at least Tylenol doesn't have that artificial taste to it. However, I really don't think I can ever take a Tylenol and not think about their whole Cyanide fiasco. Wow, did they do a great job of spinning that whole thing away. That's the sort of thing that would ruin most companies. Still many may have forgotten but I'm not going to lie and tell you it doesn't cross my mind, even if just for a nano second, as I tilt my head back to take one. The never caught that guy if I remember correctly.

I think that pain relievers screw up your liver and G.I. system. People tend to abuse pain relievers and put themselves at risk for viscernal problems or re-injury. I know that Tylenol makes a lot of money and puts the responsibilty on the ignorant consumer to dose him/herself reasonably.

Tylenol is good for pain relief in people who can't stomach aspirin and ibuprofen. It's even better for reducing fevers. Just remember that the generic form of Tylenol is acetominophen and it costs half as much. I'm in medical school.

Quick relief for a common or major headache. Also excellent for relieving pressure due to a sinus headache or head cold. Can't beat it when you have the flu either..eases those nasty aches and pains.
