Wed Sep 02 2009This is a pretty good game. In it you can choose one of several vehicles to drive. You must drive around areas and shoot your enemies with your gun. You can also pick up other weapons. When the original Twisted Metal was released in 1995, we all thought that it had awesome graphics. But when I played the original Twisted Metal after I played TMB, I felt sick. The graphics of TMB makes the original Twisted Metal's graphics look like it's an Atari 2600 game. There is one thing about the original that I like better than TMB. On the original it lets you choose an inside of the cab view. Twisted Metal:Black does not. If that view had been included in TMB, I would give it a 5 star rating. But because that view is missing, I'm only going to give it a 4.

Fri Jul 04 2008Short but awsome! I like the stories better especially Ravens. Lots of fun environments and some twists on some of the stories of the characters. They Did make a sequel it's called Twisted Metal Head On, it's the same characters but 3 new environments so I don't have a REAL desire to play it. But i am a long term twisted metal fan. I used to get up at 6 am every morning to play before school!

Fri Feb 06 2004I played the game to learn more about the characters and what made them unique. More effort and detail was put into the individual storylines than anything that has ever come out of Nintendo in the last ten years.

Thu Jan 15 2004This game is dark, twisted, fun to play, and addicting... what's not to like here? You just have to respect any game that starts out with Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones.

Wed Oct 02 2002Who doesn't love Twisted Metal? It's a good game that even the most novice player can have fun with. More characters then the Playstation versions, newer and larger levels, and it's much better multiplayer. This is a greatest hits game as well which means its only $20. Buy it, its worth it.

Mon Jun 25 2001Twisted Metal:Black The 5th installment of Twisted Metal is out and its the first car combat game to grace the PS2! Does it stand up to the challenge? Hell yeah it does! The Car-combat genre took off in early 1997 with Twisted Metal 2 and new comer in early 98, Vigilante 8. Having already liking racing games, the car-combat genre was a added welcome to the likes of Need for Speed and others.Twisted Metal is the grandfather of the car-combat genre and has a stong following of loyal supporters.I never did like Twisted Metal cause I was already hooked on V8 and Rogue Trip.I did try TM once, but it was TM3! which was a horrible game and I vowed not to ever buy another TM game.Hearing of TMB a while ago and knowing the makers of the first 2 installments were going to be making it,I thought I give it a try....I mean hell, this game has been into development for 2 years! they gotta be doing something right. Gameplay Ever play a car-combat game with no slowdowns? Yeah I know....NEVER! TMB give... Read more
